WRC 3 Review

Bracken Lee-Rudolph from ITF Gaming writes: The sport of rally racing has descended into proverbial obscurity over the past few years, and its gaming equivalents have followed a similar route - the Colin McRae franchise has descended into the DiRT franchise, which is more focused on destruction derbies akin to the FlatOut series, and titles such as MotorStorm tend to follow this trend. This leaves the WRC series, developed by veteran racing gurus, Milestone S.r.l. - an Italian development team whose racing credentials stretch back to 1995, with the release of the original Screamer title. However, does the title, published by Black Bean Games, live up to the incredibly technical and chaotic nature of the sport in question... Or does it swerve off the track, dragging the rally sub-genre into the abyss of destruction derbies and arcade racing? Let's find out!

WRC 3 vs Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo comparison at Monte Carlo

TeamVVV writes: "Hot on the heels of our WRC 5 vs Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO comparison we thought we'd now pit the nine-time world rally champion endorsed game up against WRC 3.

The last great rally game was Colin McRae Rally 2005. Everything after that, went towards the arcade racer market. Now that being said, due to where I live I have never been able to play the WRC series.

Richard Burns Rally is still considered the best rally game ever made by many hardcore rally game fans.
