"Torture as entertainment" - Since when is that anything new? Have we not seen most horror flicks of today? Hills have Eyes, House on the Left, Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

That is weal. Doesn't people like this remember that torture was one of the main selling points of the last game. The much publicized "interrogation" feature where you smashed peoples heads into sinks and walls is basically torture...
Those right there just told me that the author of this article has never played SC in any way shape or form.
Sorry but the series peaked at chaos theory then went downhill very rapidly.
