The Arkedo Series, an anthology of games by Arkedo Studio, is a throwback to times long past. When games were more about the intense challenge that came through hard and sometimes frustrating game design than they were about technical breakthroughs. A time when games didn’t hold the player’s hand as much and respected them as a player.
Buddy Acker of SpawnFirst writes: "The Xbox Live Indie Games section of the Xbox Live Marketplace is depressing. I’ll actually go a step further: it’s utter junk. Most of the games available on it are poor clones of popular games, games filled with pictures of barely clothed cartoon women or farting games rife with quicktime events. Most people will stick with Xbox Live Arcade when attempting to find an independent game to play because otherwise their efforts will be akin to searching for a dime in a fountain full of pennies and cement."
ESRB hints at Vita version of PS3 indie game collection.
This has been confirmed for quite some time now, or was that the PS3 version?

I would buy this immediately if it's available on the Vita. I feel it's the perfect device for arcade games, especially when they look as good as these three games.
DHGF: The Arkedo Series collection is a great addition to the PlayStation Network. Finally, U.S. fans will be able to enjoy these simple, yet well executed games. For a mere six bucks you get two great platformers and one great puzzle game. Together, they create a nearly irresistible package sure to appease even the stringiest of players.
This game wasn't on my radar before, but now I might just have to check it out. My poor wallet xD

Paid like £1 for Pixel (the cat one) a pretty fun platformer.

Seriously, two of these games were on 360 way early in launch on their indie channel. These games are well made and fu8n, the quality is outstanding. If you are a ps3 owner please support these guys. They are worth it.
