I was hoping to get the XM8 in one of these packs.. really disappointed that we want get new weapons. But if they try to sell the guns separate, they can go f**k themselves.
I'm just curious, were you guaranteed all of the DLC that will ever come out for BF3 or Borderlands 2 when you purchased the season passes? I'd just like to find out what the marketing was like for these season passes, I never researched them because I didn't have the money or time for them, but it's still an interesting thought that these companies may have marketed the season pass in such a way that you thought you'd get all DLC. On the other hand, they may have made it clear that you'd only be saving on the main DLC (in the case of Borderlands 2).
@SeekDev BF3, i can't remember, all i know is all clan members were gana get it (so i jumped in the sinking boat too.
And Borderlands, i didn't know it was gana have a season pass. they were promoting it on the counter on its release day. I'm 80% sure it read "All DLC" on it.
@SeekDev dunno about BF3 but Borderlands 2 have it clear that is the first 4 expansions DLC that they were already planning for the game, DLC like the mechromancer not included.
WHAT!!!!! I was really looking forward to NEW WEAPONS. EA you would really "DROP the Ball" if this happens. That was the main reason why Premium was worth the money.
i love premium, specially the 2 XP week long events, that in its self with new veicles and modes iw worth it, aint got time to reach rank 145 normal play, activision fucks u more evry year paying them for the same crap with a new paint job

LOL I bought Elite for MW3 and got a good deal on DLC. I played, enjoyed, and got more than my time and money's worth from it. Too bad for Battlefield 3 fans, game screen tears anyway.
LOL only thing you got were new maps. We get new weapons, vehicles, camo, game modes etc on top of the new maps that came with it. All for the same price
And the new BF3 maps were not simply quick copy and paste jobs either

I have to say that the dlc packs for BF3 piss all over those for MW3. I bought a few of the MW packs on the cheap a while ago and they don't get as much use as BK or AK on Battlefield.

The service was constantly broken, Operations got canceled at the last minute due to "Technical issues".
The first two collection packs went 50% off about a week after their official release meaning it actually worked out cheaper in the end to buy the DLC content separately.
EA Games, where you get the least amount of value for your money. They just can't seem to figure out why Call of Duty is so popular. All they have to do is look at how much content gets released with a CoD game on day one with every single release. I've mentioned this before, but some people seem to think that because a map is bigger in Battlefield they get better value, despite the fact that BF games usually have far less maps, far less game modes, far less weapons and not to mention a far smaller community. I didn't like MW3, but I didn't get suckered into BF3, and I'm not going to get suckered into MoH.

Hmm Let's be honest here. Even if you don't like COD, it has more content straight out of the box than BF3. I do think BF3 is a better game and more fun to play.

I really think EA are trying to piss off customers and they don't care. If they start charging for weapon dl that would be the last straw. I don't buy EA products for that reason but I love battlefield.
well i dont have premium and dont have money for pc , i use a laptop to play edgeworld ,i can play bf3 whit 24 players and is fun.

lol your full of shit, plenty of ps3 and x360 players that i talk to on the forums don't suffer from lag or over the top latency issues. Not everyone has a pristine network connection.

This is so irritating, i bought premium to get more content (vehicles, maps AND weapons) The advert on the battlelog website clearly said we would be getting new weapons with these packs which is why i spent the money on premium. Dammit EA, don't you realize that leaving a bad taste in your customers mouth will eventually cause them to spit you out.
Its bull that they remove weapons, but at the same time, not like BF3 needed more fking weapons, Jesus its already overboard with the amount of weapons.

For both titles the problem stems from paying in advance. Neither titles are getting the quality of BC2 Vietnam expansion pack.

EA kinda screwed up BF3 on the consoles this time around.. The maps are just TOO big for the consoles compared to the 24 player cap.
