What about Need For Speed, Halo 4, Dishonored, XCOM, and even earlier games in the year like journey?

i forgot about dishonored it is the only one out of those i can say has a chance, halo 4 doesnt look good to ME, i have a feeling it wont live up to the hype, xcom looks okay, need for speed wont even come close, and journey was overhyped its good but its only an hour long.

I do not think it will. Its multiplayer hasn't really changed in any of the other games from when it was introduced as from the sounds of it, it hasn't had a major overhal either which to me has gotten very stale. The story in previous games has gotten a bit convoluted as well. I am looking forward to AC but a GOTY contender?? I do not know. I think AC 3 has a lot to do considering Far Cry 3 has shown promise and we have had games like Spec Ops: The Line, Max Payne 3 and Journey (naming just a few) which have been solid games.

AC3 or Borderlands 2 are the only games this year I see which has GOTY potential
