Hopefully the fact that the media is payed to give good previews, whether the game is good or not doesn't detract from Halo 4's previews.
I wish gaming journalists were more honest, as when a game comes along that DOES deserve great praise, (Halo 4, From what I have seen it does deserve much praise) people can't take their absolute word for it.
Anyways, I hope it is the Halo of Halos as you put it. I have loved every single halo so far, but it definitely needs to kick it up a notch now, and show everyone why it is regarded as the king of shooters.
I havn't played Mass Effect 3, but some of the cut-scenes in it were amazing, and the back drops. I hope Halo 4 does this as well, make you feel more insignificant with giant warships overhead.
The Lead Cinematic Designer for Mass Effect 2 is working on Halo 4 as the Narrative Director, and I loved ME2. I have high hopes for the cutscenes, and from what we've seen, I don't think I'll be disappointed.
