ONM: It's nearly time folks; Wii U's release date is likely being announced rather soon. As a result, speculation surrounding upcoming games for Nintendo's new system is growing by the second. Clearly, the question on every fans mind is this - Can Nintendo deliver a full spectrum of stellar titles for Wii U?
Well of course they can. But despite that, we want Nintendo to swiftly dip their hands into history and plucked out a few games from yester-year, give them a HD sprinkle and let Wii U's Gamepad do the rest.
Got that retro survival horror bug? Here's Chit Hot's picks for the seven best survival horror games from yesteryear.
Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.
I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)
4 people love Eternal Darkness.
Quick! Jump on that remake, whoever holds the rights these days.
IGN writes: Mother 3 is one of the most hotly-desired RPGs ever, having never received an official translation in North America despite the cult popularity of its predecessor, Earthbound. But over all these years, series creator Shigesato Itoi has never weighed in on the discussion - at least until now."

Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars, or a sequel to it
Pokemon Snap, please. :)
Earthbound, as is, gameplay-wise, with MAYBE some voice acting, but in Wii level graphics is good enough for me. And I mean AS IS. The simple battle screens would be the same, simply with 3D modeled pictures instead of pixel ones. The over world and cut scenes would look like the CG from Super Smash Bros Melee opening, etc. My friends and I would all buy it, along with a few extra copies to give to others who we think would like it, but are resistant to old school graphics.
