There were alot of scenes where there was eerie silence and the camera would zoom into private parts in MGS4. Those were my biggest WTF moments. Aswell as the cut scenes that would nevr end!
For me it was the return of Big Boss during mid credits in Metal Gear Solid 4. My jaw literally dropped when I saw him just as I thought that the game was over. Also, to me that dumb drop kick scene in The Twin Snakes is the single worst thing ever happening in a Metal Gear Solid game. It was just dumb, unnecessary and horrible to watch. Then again, they also made him jump off of a rocket, so yeah...
The last conversation between Raiden and the A.I in MGS2 made me understand that the creators were geniuses. I then started to compare that game to other games. I still do, and there are just so many cheesy and hollow games out there. Especially this generation.
Damn that snakes nightmare sequence. When I was playing MGS3 for the first time I was stuck in the cell and after an hour of trying I gave up. You should have seen my face when I loaded up the game save next time...
Well you've got to understand that I was about 12 yo when I played it the first time (2005) and that sequence (as I suppose it was meant to) scared the hell out of me. I did enjoy it once I'd bought the subsistence version after few years, knowing the drill and having matyred up. No wonder it was for ages 16 and up...
1. MGS3 nightnamre sequence-I remember I saved at this point in the game but didnt start playing again it untill days later. When I booted it up, I really was like "WTF is this I don't remember switching disk." It took me mins to figure out this was part of the game.
2. MGS4 SP- 70% cutscene 30% gameplay
3. Naked Raiden
4. MGO discountiuned
5. Liquid arm connected to Ocelot
6. MGS2's ending in which this was just a simulator or somthing.
7. La La Lou Lei Lo
8. I agree with the "turn the game off sequence" from MGS2. I thought my game was broke
9. Liquid's Mullet
10. Last boss fight in MGS4(hated it). It was a quick time event
Edit:Funny thing about this is some people really did.
Man, I was hoping Kojima would turn the concept into a fully fleshed out game in the future.
Had to make an HD version with trophies for me to know about calling Otacon during.
