He would have made a great WWE wrestler.

Awesome dude....Huge & larger than life in all areas. I also loved him in everything....He was excellent & the shining star in The Whole Nine Yards.
Awesome in The Green Mile.
R.I.P. At least he made it, as he deserved the career he made...I just wish he was in more, as he would have been great as THE NEXT BIG ACTION STAR after Arnie, when he was in his mid to late 30's. I think he would have been in his 40's when he did The Green Mile....but apart from the whole supernatural theme, he played a pretty stereotypical, deep south, black man with a forest gump twist. I'm not sure why he had to be mentally challenged in that film.
Anyway, great man, great actor, great tragedy that he died so young. And I mean no disrespect in saying this, but if it was a heart thing, which I'm guessing it was, if I was racist I'd say it may have been all that deep fried chicken, but I'm not, so I just wonder if the man used steroids or HGH, as he was massive & muscular as opposed to fat.

I will miss seeing his awesome big ass smile at the many UFC events I watch.

Please do not comment if you are unable to tell him apart from Ving Rhames or Terry Crews or Denzel Washington, as it shows a great disrespect, ignorance & stupidity beyond words. I mean, the guy looks nothing like Rhames, except in color & Ving is almost half as big as Michael was.

I remember seeing an interview with Lawrence Fishbourne (I'm pretty sure), & people would approach him & say, "wow, I loved you in Pulp Fiction". I mean, comon, this guy had been approached so many times & been called out as Samual. L. Jackson....I mean, jesus, Lawrence is an OK-ish actor, but mistaking him for the Immortal Samual.L. is sacrelig. Not only do the 2 look nothing alike, Samual Jackson's calibre of acting is stratospheres ahead of Fishbourne's........just the same as MCD looked nothing like the actors people commenting before they think on here are mistaking him for, & he too was streets ahead of Vhing Rhames & Terry Crews in acting chops.

R.I.P. Michael Clarke Duncan. I remember watching Green Mile and said damn he's huge! You was a great actor and I'm sure a great person:(
Adolph Fitler  +   724d ago
Animal, then what happend in your case mate. I'm white, & I am no do gooder that doesn't enjoy a funny race related joke in the right circumstance.....but your crap is not that circumstance & IS one of the actual real cases of racism in modern society. The term is thrown around real loosely today, but in your case your being racist with the intent of getting a rise out of people. In this day & age, ONLY WHITES are labelled with the racist tag, which I find a load of BS & is media driven, & d1ckheads like you aren't helping the cause for our case Animal.
Michael Clarke Duncan is dead, regardless of the tan he had through 1000's of years of more exposure to sunlight, he is white, just like us white's are black......the fact is where all the damn same, & this guy deserves just as much respect as if THE WOP Deniro died, or Brad Pitt, or any damn one. He was a highly intelligent, great actor, that really only got 15 minutes of respect for his performance in Green Mile, when he should have been getting masses of roles, especially as an action star for filler roles.
Give the guy some respect, instead of trying to turn this into a racial debate, & making milkier colored humans out to be eternally evil. We're all the same mate, scientists have already proven that we ALL came from monkeys, we all were also black at some stage, so we are all the same & came from the same source...... a prime mate, or monkey.....the difference is Animal, as your handle proudly dons, you got left behind in the evolutionary process ya poor sap.

it's a real shock to wake up to this news, i've been a fan of his since i saw him in the green mile.
he's stood out in every film he's been in, and not just because of his size.

i am genuinely saddened by this news, but my sympathies really have to go to his family and friends.
