Ups: Some of the sports games are quirky, some of the core tests will elicit a giggle. May possibly benefit your sight.
Downs: Unlikely to benefit your sight, tests are repetitive and restrictive, instructions are obtrusive and tips are unnecessary.
Bottom Line: Falls short of the standard set by Brain Training, which wasn't exactly set very high.
Did you realize that you can train your sight? I would never have guessed it had Nintendo not released a game centered on that very concept. As it turns out, by doing a few exercises daily you may possibly be able to improve your peripheral vision, or maybe even your ability to track movements and quickly focus, and Nintendo's Sight Training: Enjoy Exercising and Relaxing Your Eyes (hereafter referred to as Sight Training in the interests of reducing unnecessary verbosity) is here to provide the training you need.
Next-Gen reports, Sight Training leads a Nintendo platform only top five comprised of three DS and two Wii titles.
The joint best represented system is PlayStation 3, with first-party title Uncharted, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed and Activision's Call of Duty 4 all making the top ten for the week ended February 3.
