One Angry Gamer "If you've grown tired of all the BS that has been flung around lately by the outlets and video game writers that you used to respect – and there were quite a few I used to respect, including John Walker of Rock, Paper, Shotgun and Leigh Alexander of Gamasutra – then you're probably a bit downtrodden at the social justice warrior movement to basically make gamers leave the gaming community. It makes no sense and it has no end-goal other than to antagonize and intimidate (which is quite ironic given that they're all against harassment, trolling and abuse). Nevertheless, there's hope. Various communities from 4chan have finally stopped bickering amongst themselves to work together to help all of gaming."

Seven months after its infamous launch, the Van Gogh Museum is restocking its popular Pokémon collaboration items -- and selling out fast.
I'd support them, we moan on about sites like Kotaku on here I don't see why N4G hasn't done this before. Least we would be contributing to something and at least try to put an end to it.
Just think these guys are getting paid to review video games then lie about them if they wish while collecting gaming goodies along the way like press kits and rare collectibles.
However I don't like how they are using Vivian James as a mascot. Corruption has been around way before this whole thing surrounding Vivian James, 4chan and Zoe Quinn
And to think this is what idiots like LS should be focusing on, not disrupting our gaming fun! All hackers or whatever should focus on exposing suspicious sites, imagine how fun it would be to find out just how much certain companies bribe reviewers.
This topic annoys me seriously.
Characters in video games are based on fantasy, of course they don't represent or properly portray any real group of people because they are not real.... they are fantasy and would be impossible to live up to in most cases.
fantasy Like this has existed for eons in stories, plays, movies, tv shows, legends, and games. There has never been a proven link of th effecting the behavior of the audience and to suggest that beating women in games to death will devalue women to the gamer in real life is just like saying that violence in games = violence in real life and we all know that is untrue.
If these people want to see real people who are properly fleshed out and don't conform to offensive tropes then they should go to the mall... and avoid people who actually fit those tropes pretty well.
Once you use the words SJW as a pejorative you lose me on your arguement.
Kotaku and their friends think that mocking us is going to end all this and make it just go away little by little. All it's doing is make us bigger, stronger, and angrier. The longer they push us the more it's going to hurt them when it comes to an end.
One of the latest tactics is contacting the companies and businesses that advertise on their sites and letting them know how they are being represented and what their audiences is being treated like. We have had several positive replies.
