New Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal Trailer Unveils Shadow

Sega has revealed a new trailer to Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal, which is coming to the 3DS November 11. The trailer shows off all the different types of level the game will include such as the adventure based levels, race levels and the bonus style levels similar to the classic Sonic 2 emerald levels.

Yes it does, and I didn't even look but I gaurantee you dimps is making the game...you know...the people that haven't put out a decent sonic game on DS/3DS since Sonic Colors (which still wasn't as good as the original DS game...)

I just want Sonic Unleashed Day Time Gameplay, No gimmicks with a epic story like the Adventures or unleashed. Hell even Sonic 06 minus the plot holes and inter-species romance. Sonic Colors story is nice but I actually wanna care.

Yeah, lately the story in Sonic games seems very weak. The story of Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Unleashed ( even though barely any of the characters were in it ) Sonic 2006 ( especially Shadow and Silver's story ) were all great. Sonic Generations was great to play, but the story was really weak.

I also really hate the newer voice actors in Sonic games, they are really annoying. I much preferred the voices from Sonic Adventure to Sonic Unleashed.

I'm still looking forward to this game though. When i first heard about it i decided i wasn't going to take it seriously and see it for what it was, a spin off to the main series.

Old lol. Generations came out 3 years ago and riders was more of a spin off. Though I do want another proper Sonic Riders. I enjoyed the future setting and the music. Nice change of pace.

I just want to real 3d sonic game that doesn't suck.
As much as i love the sonic unleashed style of gameplay, running down a hallway gets boring after a while.

While everyone is crying that the game looks awful the 3ds version looks pretty much close to the originals and the gba versions.

The games are geared towards kids to tie in with the show. Are you people seriously indulging yourself with your own BS?

i'm starting to think people are actually afraid it will be good. The whole industry has been down on sonic for years and everybody has been hating most of the games and only liking a couple. Now they're crying and wanting it to go back to the typical style?

This is an offshoot anyways, not the main series.
The Wii U version is similar to jak and daxter, ratchet and clank but with a sonic spin on it and i think it looks great.

Ex-Naughty Dog members are making it as well. the very people who made crash bandicoot, jak and daxter, and uncharted

Not everyone hates Sonic games, i love them all. I am yet to come across a Sonic game i have disliked.

I think people need to remember that this isn't a serious Sonic game, it's a spin off.
