I have to disagree with the score. You spoke of character inconsistencies. The beauty about a zombie apocalypse is that it forces characters to deal with situations they wouldn't have otherwise have to deal with. You said that character deaths felt insignificant. Well, they pretty much are. The whole idea of this season is seeing where clementine goes. Sure, we depend on some characters for now but we have to realize that no one is indepensible except clementine. She's the protagonist.

Episode 4 was heavily hinting at how Clem should focus on herself to survive. Season 1 was all about staying together, learning how to survive. Season 2 sets Clem as she matures beyond her years and I feel will go alone as this group is very... sketchy and not massively instinctive.

I fully expect to see clem be alone in episode 5, the way episode 4 ended who knows who is left!

Completely valid opinion. This episode, from other reviews I've read, seems to be a bit more divisive compared to some of the others in this season, of which I'm falling a little bit more in the less positive camp, if only because I wasn't entirely convinced with a lot of the character choices, and outcomes, that happened.

By all means it is far from a terrible episode, which The Walking Dead hasn't had yet. But coming off a really excellent episode (like Episode 3), "Amid the Ruins" felt a little bit more like a letdown.

I can understand the stance around having the characters act that way due to the circumstances of the world they're in. However, Telltale I feel like sets up their characters (and their actions) in a deliberate way, and I just felt in this episode that some of those outcomes felt off compared to previous episodes, and that some of the deaths that happened just felt put in for death's sake, not for a more meaningful purpose.

It felt very much like what happened with TWD: Season One and The Wolf Among Us where the fourth episode's kind of dragged a bit, but given they both ended very, very well, I think Season Two will follow the same way.

Hopefully these aren't too expensive, only played episode one before I left my 360 to a friend!

Milk that motherf**ker, quick! I might finish the first "game" on my vita one day.

I'm curious as to why you wrote "game".

He's probably suggesting it isn't a "real" game because it's a semi point and click/quick time event game.

Heavy Rain got that criticism too, apparently a game isn't "real" to some people if you're not in first person and shooting people in the face.

Does anyone know if you bought the whole first season including 400 days on ps3 if there's any sort of discount?

Played on 360 but Id like to play them again, and make different choices this time around.
