GameStop Says Only A Handful Of Their Customers Know About Trading Games

GameStop said that only a few consumers know that you can actually trade games for cash or store credit and majority doesn’t know anything about this.

KnifeFight is right. I've been watching people for years. You can put a big sign right in front of peoples' faces, and people won't read it. They'll walk right by it without paying a single heed to it. He's also right about listening. People don't bother paying attention. I see it every day of every week of every month of every year. I guess most people just don't bother thinking anymore...

Every time I have went into a Gamestop to buy a new game, they always try to sell me the used copy of the game. That's every single Gamestop I have been in, so somebody is telling a big fat lie.

Its based on their survey. Customers must be hitting no when asked if they are informed of trade program. Which is dumb because of all the marketing used to push trades. People just dont pay attention to their surroundings is all

thats why you wait till you get the extra 40% for trade in towards new games. I do it all the time, and always get a lot of $$$ for my trades. I rarely ever pay full price for a game

Trade in a game for 1% its worth or sell it on ebay or buy games at used game prices at launch on pc, decisions decisions decisions.

Im blown away people sell their games here anyways. eBay gets you way more, and its easy, if you find ebay hard well then you have issues sorry. What is probably worse is people go there and buy these used games to save a whole $5. I remember a bit after BF3 came out I actually saw people buying used copies of it for 54.99, for any game buying used to save $5 is ridiculous to me, but whats bad is it had a $10 online activation BS. Which in this case is gamestop knowingly Fing customers because they know damn well these people likely don't know about that online fee and yet sell the game for that price and don't say a thing

As a consumer, gamestop must assume that when I step into their store and see "USED" stickers on over half the games on the racks, that they just magically came from no where. Interesting.

Hard to believe this. Gamestop forces the trades speech and pre-order speech on their customers. Employees are just doing their job, but I leave ready to shoot up the place.

They know Gamestop, most people just don't feel like getting $3 for a game they paid $60 a few months prior. I would rather use mine as a drink coaster.

game trade ins don't dip any lower than $15(Base price) after a few months.

But a few months to me is 3months, its probably mean 22months to you.

Don't misunderstand knowing with ignoring...most of your smart customers won't trade nor sell their games to you at a loss.
I shudder at the thought of walking into a Gamestop with ALL their employees greeting me and trying to sell me some sh*t I don't want...yes, they gotta make a living, but geez, lol.
