It does for the most part. Make sure you get some Satchel for the Rainbow Bird.

The only things that really need an update are the overly-literal translation and some voice acting in the cutscenes. But this was back when video game voice acting didn't really have any kind of 100% Gold Standard so it's somewhat excusable in that context.

Story and gameplay are great though. And challenging. One of the most underrated JRPGs out there. I'd buy it again if I didn't already own it both physically and on PSN. lol

DID get Wild Arms 1 and 2, Dino Crisis 2, Tekken 2 and the Syphon Filter trilogy though, so I'm set.

I agree...the tank controls are pretty painful now...and so are the graphics.

There's some real a**holes on here. Snookies says "GREAT GAME, BUT THE CONTROLS ARE TERRIBLE" and gets 6 disagees w/ no agrees and Talocaca says "I AGREE...THE TANK CONTROLS ARE PRETTY PAINFUL NOW AND SO ARE THE GRAPHICS" and gets 2 agrees and no disagrees. Wow! This says a lot about the people that visit this site

I don't have nor bought the psn games like malicious that came out specifically for ps3. Played the demo hated it, saw reviews and knew why I hated it. Case closed.

Why the disagrees for a question? Anyway, for 99 cents, I think they're worth it. I played 1 and 2 way back when they first released, both were good games, but 2 was an improvement due to the fact that you get more characters to play as, I believe it had a multiplayer(offline of course), and more weapons, and no more shitty magic guards which made the first game's stealth not feel fair during a few levels. Controls get a bit of getting use to at first because you switch between manual first person aiming(I can't remember if first person aiming makes you stationary or not) or auto aim. It's a mix of stealth and action. Probably one of the best things about the game was, the taser. If you play the game and use the taser and just hold the fire button down when you hit a guy, you'll see what I mean. I can't comment on 3 because I never got the chance to play that one. I'd suggest watching some gameplay clips on Youtube to get a better feel of what the game is like to see if it'll help give you a better impression because it's been years since I've played the first 2 again.

Still one of the best looking ps2 games, you could play it now and and not worry about blurry polygons cluttering the screen.

This was also my favorite ps2 game, every story had a dark background and the gameplay was perfect.

I quickly glanced at the list thinking "cool, I'll get them all!" After a little consideration I'm still getting some. I know it's just $20, but I don't want to have a bunch of games I know I'll never play. I'm excited to see LoD for that price and have been wanting to check out Dyad. Those 2, maybe Papo, Munch's Oddysee, the Cave, Worms (something she might like too)....

Or maybe just buy all for $20 because I can't make up my mind
