Many fans have been expressing their disappointment with Bayonetta 3. Here's why the recently released game is a clear step down from Bayonetta 2.
Yet the Switch is much more powerful than the Wii U - the platform the second game released on. So you're just being negative to be negative with that comment.
I thought they focused on big kaiju like fights which felt gimmicky and thy brought this new character in to try and get away from the leading star

I mean they pretty much killed 3 big characters. They killed Jeanne, Luka and Bayonetta herself and it's not the fact they died it's how they died, we've seen Jeanne and Bayonetta survive countless things yet they go out by the lamest ways possible.
Nintendo has updated Bayonetta 2 to version 1.2.0 and they have also shared the patch notes for this update on the Nintendo Switch.
I would bought it anyway, but Bayonetta 2 made to buy it earlier :)
It's been my fondest wish to see a sequel ever since I cleared the first game on my PS3.
Needless to say, I'm ecstatic that the sequel is for the very first new-gen console I decided to pick up, to say nothing of the fact that a sequel actually exists after the sales of the first game!
I'm one happy Bayonetta fan, I'll tell you what!
Can't wait to play through both in sequence this October. It's going to be one Pandemonium of a time.^_-
Can't wait. I'm just going to be so torn when it comes out and I have both. Beat the game like 20 times between 360&ps3 but I'd want to experience the series as a whole on wiiu.

When I first played the 360 version of this I came away thinking it was absurdly over the top tosh with a combat experience that's no better and probably a bit worse than what had gone before it. I completely misread just how incredible Bayonetta is both in it's over the top general theme and it's massively layered sandbox combat. I go by first impressions but in this case it's hard to imagine how more wrong I could have been. Bayonetta is quite unrivalled in ways that you can only truly appreciate on about your 3rd or 4th play through. And the writing too is very well done if you remove yourself from your own backside
The combat is so vastly deep and subtle making the experience of controlling Bayonetta and her arsenal ridiculously satisfying and joyous. It's very unlikely those that criticize Bayonetta will have spent enough time to know what they're talking about. Anyway Bayonetta on Wii is great news
