Destiny beta coming to Xbox One & Xbox 360 in late July

Destiny's closed beta will land on Xbox One and Xbox 360 in "late July", a trailer for the game has confirmed.

LATE July isnt bad at all considering The PS4 Exclusive beta starts in Mid-Late July (17th)

I doubt that there's a great deal of difference. The mechanics and all the things that make the game good will be on all platforms. In terms of graphics, it's not really a ground breaking game anyway. Pre ordering it after playing the alpha.

I think so. I got a code with my pre-order for beta access - but that was on PS4, so don't know if it's the same for 360 / XB1

It's the same. I actually have both the PS4 and XB1 beta code as I initially did pre order both versions.

Thats smart. But for some reason this is the 1st bungie title that i have no real desire. And from everthing i've seen, i just don't see anything that great. Good design,solid graphics, but the gameplay looks repetitive and somewhat boring.

Thats an interesting and original idea I've not heard before. Other than the point of view how is it in any way similar to Doom 'the king of corridoor shooters'?

All FPS Games are Doom Clones and FPS Shooters are better when the Maps are small, better then wandering around for 10 Minutes looking for a someone to shoot at an incredible slow movement speed with limited slow weapons.

All WW2 Shooters are Wolfenstein Clones and Call of Duty 1 was simply a skin of Return to Castle Wolfenstein but without the fun.

I'm liking your broad brush approach but do you not think there has been any diversification in the genre at all. We have a more movement than the origianl Doom.....we have the power of the full aim, which wasn't in the original and as was said before....Wolfenstein was the 1st FPS.

Aiming is Doom is simple, in fact Doom had no Crosshairs. Iron Sights, regen, cover system, cinematics, training, hit boxes, realistic player movement or looking up/down.

It was pure fast paced action .

I don't think they can but that would be awesome if it were possible. Same with 360 and XB1. With the install base from last gen the player counts would be huge.
