The gap between Wii U and PS4 is actually widening.

Fishermenofwar3590d ago (Edited 3590d ago )

Umm Actually went down this week...4000 difference to 3000 this week.. Actually about 2300 give or take...

Neonridr3590d ago

it's actually 3700 difference this week, not 3000. If you are going to correct someone, give the correct totals.

KonsoruMasuta3590d ago (Edited 3590d ago )

10,715 - 7,009 = 3,706

I don't know where you got "about 2,300" from.

gerbwmu3590d ago

Unless he means the overall gap. Wii U has sold more in Japan then PS4 so every week it out sells PS4 that gap widens. Of course none of it matters anyway as long as the companies do well and we get more and better games.

Fishermenofwar3590d ago

@ Everyone...I stand corrected...original point the gap isn't increasing as much...Hopefully they can sell more...More sales is good right?

killerluffy1233590d ago

Sayonara wii u , haha just kidding , by the time hyrule warriors come out , it will skyrocket once again . For vita ..... Good luck after freedom wars , stupid US sony not making any games formit , screw them , pity the japanese , trying ao hard to save it .

Ol_G3590d ago

Did you read it ?
Wii U sold 10k
PS4 sold 07k

imXify3590d ago

Never knew japanese was a race. He's just trolling let him be.

Inception3590d ago (Edited 3590d ago )

"Good luck after freedom wars"

If i were you, i will not worry for vita on japan. Beside Freedom Wars, it still have a good line up such as Oreshika, Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II (this game had a loyal fanbase in japan), Toukiden Extreme, Danganronpa: Another Eps, Lost Dimension, Phantasy Star Nova, and God knows what japanese devs will have for Vita on TGS.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory3590d ago (Edited 3590d ago )

yes but it has to face Yokai Watch 2 in two weeks, then Senran Kagura 2, Super Smash Bros. and Pokemon ORAS. huge sellers. We will see how well Vita does.

Inception3590d ago

I bet all my dollar that vita will not stop selling despite those games facing huge seller from 3DS.

Spotie3590d ago

I bet all your dollars, too!

thehobbyist3590d ago

PSVITA has actually turned around in Japan and is starting to pick up really well. Getting more than 10k sales for a while now which is always good.

patrik233590d ago

Good job nintendo! Another week above 10k. I guess MK8 is system seller afterall

Geekman3590d ago (Edited 3590d ago )

Don't understand why handhelds sell so much there. Maybe they're more convenient?

EDIT: WTH are you talking about Metallox?

Metallox3590d ago

Actually handhelds sales are dead as well.

thehobbyist3590d ago (Edited 3590d ago )

There seems to be a shift in Japan towards gaming on-the-go. Which it seems that Nintendo and Sony are picking up on. Since some PS3 games are now getting Vita versions(That are the same minus graphics) and Nintendo seems to be going for that kind of synergy between handheld and console for their future consoles(Inference based off interviews with Nintendo).

TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "Well, this is neat. As the name suggests, Wrath of the Mutants is the rarest of things – a genuine arcade conversion. With most modern arcade games being ticket redemption machines, this is something seldom seen. In fact, the last arcade conversion we can recall was Raw Thrill’s own Cruis’n’ Blast on Switch back in 2021. This is also based on an older iteration of TMNT, harking back to the series from 2012-2017. It’s essentially breaking franchise continuity (we’ve had two different iterations of the Turtles since) and could even be considered nostalgic for a select few – those who grew up with 2012’s Turtles are probably in their late teens."
