I have a very good feeling about this game, looks like a dream and so mysterious, can't wait to know more about it.

When Journey came along it had this mystery and awe surrounding it, and it was an exceptional experience. It was also very, very pretty.

I'm getting similar feelings from ABZÛ, but I think they need to show a bit more before it excites people on the same level as Journey did. The game looks beautiful, mysterious and mesmerising and I hope Sony gets hype and promotion behind it, cause it looks like it could have the same impact for PS4 as Journey did for PS3.

I think this game is called giant squid and is not a playstation exclusive. Its a playstation debut aka timed exclusive.

zeuanimals3595d ago

It's "exclusive" as in it won't go to Xbox One or Wii U, but it is going to PC.

And Giant Squid are the devs, ABZU is the game.

Seafort3595d ago

The developers are called Giant Squid and the game is coming to PC and PS4 in 2016.

So it's a console exclusive not a full exclusive.

bessy673595d ago

Yeah, "console deubt" for PS4. Sony likely bought timed exclusivity with the Pub Fund

rdgneoz33595d ago

@bessy67 You do realize the pub fund is designed to help developers fund their game in exchange for the exclusivity (full or timed). They're given royalties upfront so that they can actually make their game. If a dev had the money to make the game and didn't want it to be exclusive, they wouldn't need to take part in it.

Also, no where in the article does it even mention the pub fund. No in any other article for them. The guy who formed GiantSquid had previous experience with PlayStation having been the art director for Journey and Flower.

I've had endless hours of fun on Journey, a true roller-coaster of emotions, from eagerness to sadness and pure elation toward the end. The graphics and music were absolutely stunning.

Are you guys sure its not going to x1? i understand they are the ex journey devs and yes the company is called giant squid, and i had been scouring the internet to see what the début meant but came across no info. Regardless if its not coming to x1 i look forward to playing it on pc. but something tells me the debut means it can come to x1. Inside from x1 who are the limbo devs also have timed exclusive because of the Xbox "debut". i expect that game to go on playstation. But does anyone have confirmation abzu is not coming to x1?ori and the blind forest is my fave indie coming out of e3 with abzu being second fave.

TimeSkipLuffy3595d ago (Edited 3595d ago )

All that exclusive talk!!! The only sure exclusive games are the ones where the company owns the IP because either they bought it or it has been developed by one of their own studios.

Any other games can be released on a different console, PC, handheld at any time. This is the reality. It might happen, it can happen but that is the choice of the ones that owns the IP.

If BigN someday decides to not sell consoles anymore they can easily release their stuff on the existing consoles of their choice...

7 Underwater Games That May Help Cure Your Thalassophobia

BLG writes: "If the best way to overcome your fears is to face them head-on, then playing underwater games should be an efficient way to help you get over the fear of the deeps, better known as Thalassophobia. Of course, it all depends on the game because plenty of them are terrifying regardless of whether or not you’re afraid of big bodies of water. Don’t worry, though, because this article is all about serene and relaxing underwater games. At least for the most part."
