"Sony has posted job listings for Software Engineers to work on Virtual Machines for the PlayStation brand, with team members being a "part of extending and improving the virtual machines which SCE currently uses across many platforms.""
Games Asylum: "Well, this is neat. As the name suggests, Wrath of the Mutants is the rarest of things – a genuine arcade conversion. With most modern arcade games being ticket redemption machines, this is something seldom seen. In fact, the last arcade conversion we can recall was Raw Thrill’s own Cruis’n’ Blast on Switch back in 2021. This is also based on an older iteration of TMNT, harking back to the series from 2012-2017. It’s essentially breaking franchise continuity (we’ve had two different iterations of the Turtles since) and could even be considered nostalgic for a select few – those who grew up with 2012’s Turtles are probably in their late teens."
Year 9 in Rainbow Six Siege brings Deimos, ACOG sights with new grips, and an interesting roadmap for the upcoming seasons.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a love letter for all Suikoden fans; it embraces the classic essence and doesn't succumb to modernity.
You can criticize Sony all you want for copying The wii Mote, Super smash bros, or anything, but they also try new things. They have contributed to this industry as much as Nintendo and Microsoft:
- Cloud Gaming in consoles
- Remote play inside or outside home
- Emulation of PS1,PS2 and PS3 via Gaikay
- Vitual Reality headset
- New ways to play implemented in DS4
- PS+
These are all the new thinks Sony has done so far I can think of. If you say Sony doesn't innovate, then you are an ignorant hater.
well a vita emulator is definitely not happening.
Let the hunt begin!
when will vita tv release in NA? anyways on topic i would love to be able to play ps3 games on ps4. i would buy ni no kuni, drakengard 3, ffx and a few other games.
I imagine it's more like PS1, 2 and 3 emulation instead of Vita
