Good looking game. Can't wait to see what the dinosaurs look like.

john23653d ago

Doubt it will have any (though a collab with the team behind Project Crynosaurs would be kind of cool as they have dinos up and running). This will most probably be just a tech demo

randomass1713653d ago

I was kind of disappointed not to see dinos in this video. What kind of game is this going to be?

DialgaMarine3653d ago

A legit Jurassic Park game, like an open world survival horror type deal, would be pretty amazing. Just not a complete train wreck like Trespasser.

randomass1713653d ago

Or meaningless shovelware like some of the stuff we've gotten in the past decade.

IaussieGamer3653d ago

didn't blow my mind away at all. Looked very generic

Hellsvacancy3653d ago

"Will Blow You Away" i'm still here, it didn't move me at all, it looks like what it says on the tin *a mod*

Looked like a scene from Crysis with added Jurassic Park sound fx

Nothing to see here that will "Blow You Away"

randomass1713653d ago

This just looks like a tech demonstration. Admittedly it doesn't look huge, but if we see the actual game in motion with dinosaurs it will probably look a lot cooler.

Hellsvacancy3653d ago

I'm not denying the quality of the game dude, it's just that it could of been presented a bit better, a title without "Will Blow You Away" would help

1nsomniac3653d ago

Looked awesome graphics & sound-wise. I really, really want a next gen survival dinosaur game!

randomass1713653d ago

Yeah, me too. It's been far too long since the last Turok game and King Kong came out. And those were just okay action shooters.

Hunt: Showdown is getting one of the rarest things a game can get: an engine upgrade

"It is gonna be a long technical road" to update Hunt's version of CryEngine.

MadLad411d ago

Great game.
Smaller, but healthy, player base. At least on PC. Very tense game.

bunt-custardly410d ago

If anyone can upgrade the engine then Crytek can. Good news anyway. Hunt looks pretty awesome anyway, but with UE5 a thing now Cryengine beginning to look dated perhaps?

Eonjay409d ago

It was bound to happen. Let's hope that they can update their engine. As good as UE5 looks, we need multiple engines out there. This will prevent all games from looking too samey.

Looking at DF the last three Graphics of the year have been:

Insomniac engine
Red Engine
Decima Engine

I love seeing different engines flex their muscles.

Concertoine409d ago

I do too, but having a dependable and common engine would go a long way toward fixing development cost and time.

Every Jurassic Park Game Ranked From Worst To Best

BLG writes: "In 1993 Steven Spielberg took Michael Crichton’s novel about a dinosaur theme park and turned it into a cinema masterpiece. And ever since then every developer from Konami to Telltale has tried to make the films into a video game. The developers were so concerned with whether or not they could, they never stopped to consider whether they should. Welcome to every Jurassic Park Game ever made ranked from worst to best."

Dinosaurs once ruled the 🌎

ZeekQuattro627d ago

It's funny I was a big dinosaur fan as a kid but I only ever played JP 1 (NES), JP II (SNES) and JP Rampage Edition (Genesis). I really liked Rampage Edition as you got to play a raptor trying to escape the Island.

sourOG627d ago

I really enjoyed the evolution games. I platinumed both but I never got the dlc. That’s the planet coaster studio if I’m not mistaken. They are awesome, they brought that shit to consoles in a competent way. As a Jurassic park fan and a sim building fan it was a perfect match. Does anyone know if planet zoo if ever coming to consoles?

Profchaos627d ago

When I was a kid I saved up and brought the lost world game on PS1 all I ever wanted was to be a Trex let lose on the city like the end of the movie but man that difficulty I never made it past the 2nd level

ANIALATOR136627d ago (Edited 627d ago )

Back then with there being no Internet, you needed the codes to access the levels too. And if you didn't have them, you could always keep inputting nonsense into the search until something came up. I remember once inputting the right code for the t rex level but since I didn't write it down, I couldn't play it again when I died. These days it's nothing though to go back and play what you want, when you want.

Jurassic Park Sega CD wasn't even mentioned, so this list isn't "Every". Actually a pretty bad game, but I loved it because I was a JP obsessed kid! XD

New Jurassic World game on the way

official Jurassic World account shared an image on Twitter where we can see a dinosaur behind some leaves. Fans quickly began to speculate that it was a capture from an upcoming video game, as the graphics of the creature are very different from what we can find in the movies.

It's a billion dollar franchise. Nuff said.

monkey6021046d ago

It's my guilty pleasure in life. I'm responding to you right now while wearing a Jurassic Park hoodie. I absolutely love the property

sourOG1046d ago

Nice. Can’t wait to ride the new Jurassic world roller coaster later this year.
