Feeling Angry? You Might be Bad at Games

Or you just might not like the current general style of gaming, which is either focused on first person perspectives or is trying to be "clever" with older game genres which most call "pass-say". Not understanding old game types while trying to improve them.

It's funny how some people just suck at games. What's interesting though is the human mind trying it's best to master it leading to agitation and aggression if said person fails. What people need to realize is that It has nothing to do with the content itself. We are given a task and we try our best to accomplish it. Let it be a game like Angry Bird or a game like Dark Souls at the end of the day both games lead to frustration. Knowing that and realizing that ahead of time can bring out enjoyment out of it even if you get angry and agitated.

I think the only game I can actually say I was a pro in was Warhawk and I'm proud to say that because that game had a serious learning curve. Everything else, I'm average.

Or you might just have anger issues, i suck at plenty of games but that doesn't make me angry. Most of the time i can still enjoy it even if i suck at it, and if my crappy skills are causing me to not progress then i just stop playing and come back to it at another time which usually does the trick.

i die lots of times in all sorts of games i still have fun with those games. i have always had good patience though

Exactly. I do what most gamers do when they get frustrated, I curse and yell at the tv screen. I draw the line at throwing my controllers. Breaking your own stuff is just stupid.

These days I usually only feel angry when I go back and play some of the games I grew up with only to find out that now I can't play them worth a damn anymore. Its like the average game today is so easy I forgot about the days when I actually had to try to beat a game.

Classic Freudian projection. Your child is aggressive and poorly behaved so it's someone else's fault. Parents who blame video games need to understand that most children can't buy these games unless someone gives them the means to buy them. Forget drugs, dysfunctional family environments, and physical and mental abuse, blame the video games. Children and adults who are free of mental illness know the difference between a video game violence and a real violence. I don't see too many children or adults dressing up as Batman and going out to fight crime. The notion that video game violence influences children (WHO ARE OLD ENOUGH TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES) is absolutely ridiculous.

The only thing in games that makes me rage is online MP, god the amount of bloody lag or BS reasons for dying that rarely is it my fault. Why shouldn't I get angry when I unload a full clip into someone for them to turn round and 1 shot me >:(

I get frustrated when I play a hard game but unlike many I don't cry like a baby a wine about it
