Alex Mayberry revealed that the PS4 version of the game won't be a straight port and that they plan to make changes that will make it "feel like it was made for that platform."
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.
Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?
Diablo III: Season 28 brings with it the Altar of Rites, an altar full of unlockable bonuses and potions that will require the gathering of tons of resources. One of things needed is the Staff of Herding, which also unlocks the famous Cow Level known as Whimsyshire. Here's how to craft that staff, for those that either have forgotten, or have never completed it.
Have a word with Rocksteady will ya?
I was incredibly skeptical when Diablo 3 came to consoles. But Ill be damned if it wasnt more enjoyable than the pc version. It didnt feel like a port whatsoever. And the Roll/Evade was much needed addition from the PC game.
Oops, double post.
Good to hear. I love couch co-op!
I'm sure it will be a decent game considering how long it's taken them to release it. 2+ years old game from pc
I'm going to skip it because I don't want a penny of my money going towards Activision.
Activision Blizzard only cares about the profits from their games, not the game quality or audience itself. The only reason it's getting this much time and polish is A. some type of deal worked out with sony B. the MASSIVE growing install base on the PS4.
This game couldn't even satisfy longtime fans longer than a month. Then they kicked off the director and replaced him with someone who wasn't a hotheaded idiot.
Hope this company crashes and burns to the point where they lay off everyone other than Kotick who sits on all their money.
Giving money to EA and Activision is like asking to get kicked in the balls.
