I'm not buying much of what Ubisoft says at the moment. Not after that Watch_Dogs trailer. In fact, my anticipation for The Division has suffered due directly to that disappointing trailer, fair or not. The one caveat that I hope makes the difference is that Watch_Dogs was also designed for the 360/ps3, while The Division is pc, ps4, xbone only. If Watch_Dogs turns out to be visually disappointing when compared to what they showed at 2 E3's, I won't buy it simply on principle. If you show and then don't deliver, you don't get my dollars. That is one of the reasons I haven't bought an xbone, and probably won't for quite some time, if ever. I have a real problem when companies run their games on high end pc's IF the games subsequent release is miles away from the quality shown previously. Sony didn't do that at E3 2013. What they showed is what we got when the system launched. Microsoft was completely the opposite. Now Ubisoft appears to be clowning around like Microsoft. Unacceptable. The Division better hit the target. The Order:1886 hit the target. They said the trailer was in engine, and by golly, it turned out to be just so. Don't sell us on lollipops and cotton candy then show up,sh#t in hand offering a bunch of lame excuses. It ain't cutting it.

Highly unlikely the Division will come out 2014, I just can't see it...

There is only 9 months left, and while that seems like a lot of time, if the game was really coming out this year, we would already have more videos of gameplay, because the game would have to be more then half way done by now - in-order to ship by end of the year..

It's just seriously unlikely.. Very ambitions but highly unlikey...imo

-But I would love to play it this year, that would be Amazing if we could get it in 2014.

Hey watchdogs didn't have that many videos after the delay and all of a sudden there's a surge of videos. Things can change very rapidly at any moment.

Is that a good or bad thing? I'm not impressed with the visual downgrading of watchdogs, they might even do the same for this

mike32UK3700d ago

Ubisoft are just the publishers for The division, hopefully we won't see a downgrade

mogwaii3700d ago

My bets are on it being downgraded which after seeing the vids released so far would be a shame :(

jtenma3700d ago

This game runs on SnowDrop. It cant even be compared to Watchdogs anyway.

IIRC Watchdogs isn't on Snowdrop?

lonewolfjedi3700d ago (Edited 3700d ago )

I doubt it. don't rush these games ubisoft

I can live without The Crew to be honest with you. From the video's I've seen, it's an arcade racer, not impressed. I'm more into simulation racers and turning a Camaro into a 4X4 and smashing into cars isn't my cup of tea. I'd rather them work their tail off on The Division and get that out before Christmas.

Ubisoft's Recent Antics Have Me Fearful For The Sands of Time Remake

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
