Call of Duty: Future Warfare - Will It Happen?

ThisisXbox: "Unfortunately Call of Duty: Ghosts 2 has already been confirmed from Infinity Ward, one of the most lack lustre and plain campaigns in the whole series is set to return so this almost all but confirms their departure from the Modern Warfare franchise. Treyarch, whilst their next title will not ship until 2015, it is unlikely to be Modern Warfare related and no surprises for Black Ops 3, as per Modern Warfare it is a successful branch on the Call of Duty tree that need not die off just yet. Sledgehammer Games will release a next-gen focussed Call of Duty this year, but if it is not the obvious (Modern Warfare 4) they could surprise with something the world forgot about from around four years ago…

I really don't consider Black Ops 2 a futuristic game. Not when you have games like Timesplitters and Halo out there. Black Ops 2 is still a pretty modern war game with a few cool toys that could be considered futuristic.

Yes it will happen, they will call it "Call of Duty: Mech Warfare" to compete with Titanfall, it will have Jetpacks and space monsters

I'm DONE with that franchise. Not because it's not "Innovative" but because I'm tired of it. Then again, I do play every Mario game that comes out..... Pherhaps I'm a hippocrite.

Mario 64 is nothing like Mario Sunshine, which is nothing like Mario Galaxy, which is nothing like Super Mario Bros. U.

I was a fan of cod till ghosts now i am really happy with Battlefield simply a better game

Cod: Ghosts is the worst entry in the series behind World at War. But BF4 sucks just as much as Ghosts. There hasn't been a really awesome FPS in a while. I'm a PS4 owner, so I never got to play Titanfall. Maybe that will shake things up, cause Killzone: Shadow Fall is average as well.

Couldn't agree more - I am a self confessed CoD Mega Fan, but Ghosts was pretty lame campaign wise - I wonder how long before it takes a leaf out of Titanfalls book and just scraps a solo campaign altogether haha

Tatanfall is essentially Future CoD. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It's made by the original IW guys. And they knew how to make a game (Except for MW2 IMO. Although, if you followed that whole thing, they probably wanted to work on something else long before that)
