popularity man. All i know is if thi game is whats viewed as one of the best of the ios/mobile gaming gen then I should have no issues becoming a success once I release my game. Even one guy from IGN said crap like the creator deserves money. IGN lost all of their respect as game reviewers from me after that.

@ buff srry about that was getting a bit too heated, The creator deserves some money I guess he got the popularity and his game has become a success and its entertaining people and thats all that matters.

I guess i just got heated from the surprise that something so simple could become such a huge hit even though I've always strived for creating a much more in depth game IDK I'm just extremely surprised that this became the big thing besides the countless other games that would be viewed as having more substance sorry about the outburst.

The worst part of this article is that most of these "Tips, tricks, and cheats" boil down to "Be better".
I actually have no clue about which of them is even a "Cheat". Is simply playing the game considered cheating yourself out of a better existence?

There's really no reason to cheat on this game if you even can. Just play it a few minutes. You have to get used to how to tap. That's about it.

After actually trying the game I fully understand why people were complaining about the controls it feels as though the hitbox on the pipes are kinda off sometimes though this could just be because of the birds hitbox. The bird also seems to jump up too high sometimes even when I tap incrementally. Either way congrats to creator, I hope that once i release a game it becomes as much of a success as this.

I just downloaded this game and got to 5. I like this kind of game for something you can play when you have a few minutes to kill. I'd never switch from console gaming to games like this though.

I'm just up to 8 now. I don't know if I'll ever get to 30. It's an addicting game though. The best part is it's free. The only problem I've had is a couple times the banner ads on top got in my way and I died. Maybe they should just have those on the bottom where they don't block your view.

My wife told me download it while I was at work as on some days at work I have alot of time on my hands when im just sitting around doing nothing. At first I couldnt get more than 2 or 3. Its insanely addictive. My top score now is 44. I hope to get above 50 and then Iight stop lol

It's really strange how some games as simple and straight forward as these just instantly take off on tablets/smartphones.

This game is blowing up and see everyone who has a smartphone playing this game.

I tried it myself and could not get past the third pipe. And the graphics seem ripped right out of Super Mario Bros for NES.

Off topic: They're marking down almost any comment that point out the abnormal heat of this article and how mods/admins can make an article hotter if they wanted. On topic: This game is pretty fun and addictive. I play it all day and everyday and absolutely love it. It's one of the best games ever made and I am glad to see this article reach such an abnormally large temperature that came out of nowhere. It deserves all of the positive press it gets. It is pixel-perfect in its denial of your progress.

I personally don't care if this gets marked as off topic. The comment of every individual here that mentioned the abnormally high heat for this kind of article is completely legitimate. Normally articles don't get such heat unless they are one talking about a stream for E3, TGS, or GDC and this game is none of those.

The last time this submitter posted pretty much an identical article about this game, Cat herself said the heat for this article was wrong and she fixed it. Now all of a sudden it's higher than the last article was and so many people are having their comments moderated and no explanation is given.

I find it immensely hard to believe that Hava Media is in any way partnered with a wordpress blog whose page is almost barren of content that most here would consider newsworthy, so what the hell is up?

My highest score in this game is 23 , i think that if you spend many hours on it you will master it . actually this game is not like angry bird . you can't just win at the first round .
