After Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story Director Yasumi Matsuno the tactical RPG Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians grabbed more talent from the Final Fantasy chest. Developer Playdek just announced that Akihiko Yoshida joined the team.
After taking over the Yasumi Matsuno-designed Kickstarter JRPG Unsung Story, Little Orbit has finally achieved a relevant development milestone.
I was so excited when this kickstarter was announced. The team that was working on it gave me so much hope that another great Final Fantasy Tactics type game was coming. Now I wish this was still the case but I'm not gettingy hopes up.
Playdek is washing their hands of the game.
On a related note, Final Fantasy Tactics and by extension the universe it spawned turn 20 this year
I hope it's good. I really want a good spiritual successor to FF Tactics and Tactics Ogre.
Would prefer another one by Square Enix...
Felix Wong writes: "“Liars” is what Kickstarter backer Will O’Neill called the devs behind Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians, the tactical diverse RPG “envisioned” by the renowned Yasumi Matsuno."
Fingers crossed that it gets enough funds on KS to receive a release on VITA/PS4.
I can't believe they are almost halfway through the Kickstarter and the main funding is not yet met!
Stupid idiots spreading untruths about the project early on hopefully didn't ruin us getting another full FFT-style experience.
They need to get $1M for Hitoshi Sakimoto & Vita release. Let's go!
LOVE Akihiko Yoshida :) FFXII my favs of all time. I might join the kickstarter now to encourage them!!
Wow, I'm backing this right now, Yoshida's style is superb!
this will sadly be overlooked. some of the best creative minds in the industry are attached to this. why is nobody noticing? why is it way below the goal with only teo weeks left?
