Kenneth Shepard from SpawnFirst writes: "I’ve recently made the discovery that if I weren’t already submerged in the video game industry I could make pretty safe bets on how games and systems are doing commercially by what I see every day when working in retail. In my nearly two years working at my local Wal-mart, I’ve seen only two separate shipments of Vitas, and have never seen an empty section on the shelf for the handheld. I was present for the Wii U launch and was in a small line where we sold all of our initial shipment on launch night. Since the system launched we’ve never been without available systems."
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Behavior Interactive Inc. revealed a new content update for Dead By Daylight, with a Chatoic Modifier, Store Update, and TOME 19: SPLENDOR.
Gori: Cuddly Carnage is out this summer, an adult-themed action platformer featuring a hero cat with a hoverboard that fights against mutated toys who destroyed the world.
Just keep pushing out great games. You've already started with the best launch lineup of the competition, just keep it going. Sony's first party will be roaring to life in 2014.
Erm......why is this story present in the Nintendo and Sony sections when it's mostly directed at Microsoft?
Just wondering, not trying to insult.
Its funny how people claim that ms isn't focused on gaming but they launched with more games than the competition, plus their 2014 lineup is arguably the best.
It's Spawn First article posted by Maria. ROFL.
My console works great and is fun to play. New content is coming soon and as long as they keep that up things are great.
They have promised driver updates and better functionality and MS is the best in the game when it comes to updates.
Continue to support the architecture and things will only get even better.
1st off,I love my XB1 ! and I must say that I was a bit put off after last years introduction at E3,but when it all came down what system had the best games the xhox 1 got my hard earned $$$$!
I have owned and still own every game system since the magnavox odessy 2,so I consider myself as a hardcore gamer! I'm not a fan of any 1 system and I will get a PS4 at some point.
2nd off to the author of this story....Thank you for your input and time to write this! Not only are you a true gamer, but also you work in the retail sales industry. I must say that the people that work in my Walmarts video game department have VERY little knowledge of what they are selling. Its a shame! and because they NEVER seemed to have any XB1's in stock,I bought mine mine through another retailer on 12/20/2014. While I'm thinking of it ,they NEVER had any PS4's in stock either! and I checked every other day.
Keep up on your writing and continue your work in retail, The department manager should be proud of you and you should develop a excellent customer base because of your gaming knowledge!
