New Aliens: Colonial Marines screens

German gaming site Xbox 360 - Universe has some new screenshots of Aliens: Colonial Marines.

admittedly I had my expectations low when I heard about "another" Aliens game, but these screenshots look really good, and I for one and hoping for a Top Notch Aliens game.......

But I still get this impression that it's a recap of the movie Aliens. Doesn't seem all that ground breaking in terms of exploring more of the Alien's universe.

Well you could argue that those games are actually inspired by Aliens, and therefore they look like they "borrowed" elements from Aliens: CM.

Alien came out in '79 and Aliens in '86, long before the games were even a concept.

If you read the article on that magazine a few weeks ago, you would know that this game has absolutely NOTHING to do with Resistance, Halo or Fear. It may be a crossover of many games that came out before but it certainly has nothing to do with those.

If you have a chance to read the article preview (check the scans through goole) you'll see what I mean.

I don't ask for much. I was hoping you could do more with some other games recently, but you are a busy, and NOBODY was expecting Lair to turn out the way it did. But I'm begging you, please let this game capitalize on the incredible potential it appears to have.

....i love the alien franchise. Great films, not too keep on the AVP stuff though. But anyways looks really promising, one to look out for in 2009?!i think thats when its coming out.
