Highest PS4 exclusive is at #8. Highest Xbone exclusive is at #25. Says a lot.

Edit: Also, Knack is ahead of Ryse.

If you look at the chart without combining cross platform sales for multiplats, KZ is actually the highest next gen game, period.

Edit: Correction, FIFA 14 beats it, but it is, surprisingly, doing better than the multiplat FPS.

10% down in sales. The demand for X1 has already plateaued.

The amazing thing about the UK charts is the XB1 could still be bought in stores whereas the PS4 was sold out almost everywhere.

I believe the initial Microsoft figures for the UK are sold to the retailer whereas the PS4 figures seem to be be actual units sold.

The lead will only get bigger once more supplies of PS4 get here. Great that Microsoft and Sony are selling so well...

man, i have this insane feeling that tells me that the xbox one is not doing as well as the media puts it out to be though im sure its doing good but knowing how sneaky and deep Microsoft's pockets go im naturally tempted to doubt everything that has to do with them.

its also pretty much a fact that some of our friends and family have purchased xbox one's because a ps4 console was no-where to be found on shelves. even though i despise microsoft and their business models i love games more than i hate them so chances are i will end up buying the one down the road if they deliver some truly unique and original IP's.

Or it could mean that numbers reflect a small install base. Ps3 released resistance at launch the only good launch title, that did a million, could be same thing with ps4 cause killzone is good game, lots of ps4 owners scooped it up.

pyramidshead3760d ago

Because it's more of a game than Ryse, simple really.

OT: Looks like PS4 games seem to be doing quite well despite the ratings from reviews, interesting.

Raccoon3760d ago

those games are doing farely well due to superb console sale figures... I, for example purchased all ps4 exclusive tittles and then some as a means to retire my ps3.

Dat PS4 domination. Will reach 1 million sold in the UK in the first or second quarter of 2014 if these sales keep up.

Worst case scenario: reaches 1million in the last half of the year before the holidays.

Wii U am cry.

Forget next gen, look at the power of Minecraft -- and it's coming to console near you too.

I hope 2014 brings more inspiring games like this that become successful.

I don't see any surprise, COD, Fifa, etc...

AFK Journey Review: A Rewarding Gacha Experience - ESTNN

Paul G Writes: "AFK Journey is a free open-world, role-playing gacha centered on creating your own team of powerful heroes. Here, you play as the reincarnation of the great mage Merlin, solving a mystery surrounding a malignant corruption.

On its surface, AFK Journey's gorgeous visuals, strategic gameplay and dynamic characters promise a wholly fun experience for new and old players alike. Journey even has a very easy pity system that makes getting rare heroes a breeze.

That said, AFK Journey still presents the usual flaws in big gacha entries, including a lack of accessibility features, bad voice direction and predatory microtransactions."
