For the first post in this series, I’m quoting a post from our senior VIP editor and writing mentor on the site, Alex Balderas. You can spot him on the forums on any typical day, chatting freely and joking around with everyone else. In this particular post, he responded to another forum member (Superfakerbros) who had posited that Iwata was the perfect president for handheld systems and a weak president for console systems.
This was his response
The new Nintendo-focused emulator for the iPhone is now available with support for several classic systems.
Won't belong before Nintendo bangs on Apple's door to have the emu removed. Like I say you take down one six more take it's place. Problem is people are putting emu's on such stupid platforms. The good emus are the ones not on stupid platforms like a red target. The good emu's are word of mouth and keep a low profile.
Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
A new list goes over eight of the the most useless amiibo, ranging from the Shadow Mewtwo card to the Qbby figure.
Ricudolus indeed
After reading the article to get clarity in the post, I could'nt disagree more. I really enjoy gaming and I've been gaming since the Atari days. Now that I'm grown with a family of my own I find myself with far less time to do one of the things I love. Nintendo's content provides those quick gaming sessions, I can even play something like Zenoblade Chronicles with its save anytime feature. Then there is the masterpiece that is SM3DW, I can pick up the Gamepad at anytime and have a great gaming session without having to go through tons of story or run and fetch quest.
Granted Nintendo may not cater to gamer with infinite time, but they keep this gamer gaming. Maybe Nintendo just grew up with me.
Iwatendo sucks. Old Nintendo was great.
