After playing knack an loving it I decided reviews are stupid for all games. If ur undecided screw reviews. Watch a stream and it'll help u decide. Knack is an awesome game an the reviewers did it a disservice. So if any Xbox games get low scores just watch a stream and ill realize how great streaming is. Honestly guys.

I bought killzone and knack, but killzone isn't getting any love yet. Knack is so satisfying.

Forget the media. Ironic that I say that on a news aggregate. I've encountered numerous people on this site that are more knowledgeable and realistic than some of the idiots disguised as journalists. Don't get me wrong, there are moronic posters here, too.

At the two above me, knack is awesome I really don't understand some of the reviews is like they were expecting something out of this world. Knack is like a tribute game to crash bandicoot and I loved bandicoot and I like games like this where I don't have to be so serious all the time and just have fun. When I read reviews for games I try to look for things that should be a concern and separate the BS that the reviewer has with the game.

I think it's one of the beautiful things about live from PlayStation.
At any point you can just fire that up and there are countless streams out there for any games available on ps4. I think it's a great thing because many out there already do that with YouTube.
It's like you can review a ps4 game on your ps4 before you actually pay for it.

I agree that killer instinct will be higher...the only reason I can see them giving this game a low score is because of the amount of characters at launch.

Other than that I don't see why it wont get an 8 or higher.

we dont know about rise much but i would not be shocked if it got above 9 or 9 because the game looks good and if it get lower ,then it also does not matter because lauch titles dont use to be that good ,but if it get good score then the cures of launch titles be dissaper ,whatever happens i will be waiting to play them.

I think KI is gonna do fine review wise seeing as a good majority of IGN staff are aware of the platform model in KI exists in other games like LoL and Dota. It's just very hard for people who play exclusively on console to mentally grasp what's going on with it, so it scares them and they get angry.

Well I was right that it was too early to review KI till they released the full roster and other modes, I wasn't far off the score mind ;)

DR is a little lower than I thought but is reviewing well, defo a good launch game.

Overall I'm happy so far, Crimson Dragon is my only disappointment tbh.

I look forward to Forza and Ryse's reviews, I doubt Forza will score low and Ryse is at the very least the best looking next-gen game out there, here's hoping it is also fun!

Polygon will give forza 5 an 11/10 they will say the less cars and tracks than forza 4 makes it easier to pick what you want and is a stroke of genius.

WOW! MS seems to pay for everything these days. If they get good reviews they paid for the reviews but if its bad then its fair. Sony gets bad reviews therefore MS must have paid them to give Sony exclusives bad reviews. I mean its Sony, all their exclusives should be 10s. Get a grip people, Knack Sucks! Fact! I am sure it has its fans, just like I am sure Lococycle will have its fans but that game sucks to me too. Its the truth. Killzone is eye candy and that's all it brings to the table. BF4 is the only FPS worth getting this launch for both consoles.

I'm surprised so many people think Killer Instinct will get such good reviews. The best fighting game scores range from 80-85 or so with only a rare game getting higher than that. The Wii U's version of Injustice: Gods Among Us only averages an 82 on Metacritic and that is a damn fine fighting game. Plus, it IS Double Helix.

I am curious to see how reviewers handle the game's business model.

That's because Injustice is a fun, but mediocre fighter. All signs point to KI having a very deep combat system. I think it will review VERY well...

If I were getting an XB1 (which I'm not) I would hope DR3 gets really good scores. I like that series a lot and would not say no to it appearing on PS4.

Really? I've gotten the impression that most (but not all) reviewers have found Ryse very basic. And other than the graphics the game has always looked very shallow to me, which is sad because I'm a HUGE fan of Roman culture. Plus, the review embargo for Ryse is midnight Thursday - aka Xbox One launch - and Microsoft has been making a big marketing push. I honestly believe Microsoft questions how well reviewers will receive Ryse and have tried to stave off negative reviews until, quite frankly, it's too late for gamers.

Reviews should not matter to those who want to enjoy the games they want to enjoy on whatever console u enjoy. Good or bad, just go with what u enjoy. Dynasty Warriors & Madden usually always have crappy scores but it doesnt stop me from buying those games. Reviews now days are all crap. If u dont give them a duffle bag of goodies, u can trust them to find a way to piss off fanboys for hits. Enjoy your games on all consoles & hope xbox one has a good launch aswell.

Do the reviews really matter at this point? If your getting an Xbox one, a review is not going to change your mind. Besides most of the reviews are on gaming sites that the casual game or potential customer will never see.
