Battlefield 4: Second Assault maps include Caspian Border, Operation Metro & more

EA has revealed the line-up of maps included in Battlefield 4 expansion pack Second Assault.

The map pack, which is set to launch first on Xbox One on November 22, includes Battlefield 3 favourites Caspian Border, Operation Metro, Gulf of Oman and Operation Firestorm, reworked for Battlefield 4 to include new Levolution features.

Anyways, I think it's pure bulls*** to reuse maps and sell them for face value. The ideas and design are the same, only a new engine and art/graphics.

I'm sad that BF has stooped to CoD levels.

No way i for one would gladly pay for metro and Caspian border, bear in mind that dice map packs usually include a few maps, a few guns and new challenges camo etc so its totally worth it for me!

Also the fact that for the first time on next gen consoles players will be able to finally play the true caspian border, with its full size, extra capture points,more vehicles and crucially 64 players! with the new destruction engine, well improved destruction and with new weapons etc its a great deal!

Especially for players like me and my friends who were mostly playing bf3 on ps3 with its cut down everything.
I also have bf3 on my gaming pc and i swear its a totally different experience with 64 players all at 60 fps and all the vehicles! ITS A SIGHT TO BEHOLD! so for us its great, and something we wanted, op metro and caspian border are the most loved maps in bf3 so it makes sense to give console players the true experience of these maps!

And most importantly dlc map packs are completely optional, you are not forced to buy it, so if you don't like it dont buy it! SIMPLE!
This is something the Battlefield community has asked for, op metro and Caspian border are the most requested maps to return in BF4,so dice is just serving their community!

I agree, There is a difference when we get old maps from older BF games. Not a game that came out 2 years ago!

There's a difference between old maps and classic ones. And quit comparing Battlefield to Call of duty, it's not even a close comparison.

One time on Caspian my squad destroyed all of the trees on most of the map, it looked pretty cool. (We still won, the enemy team seemed to be only playing for their K/D)

I glad I have a share button now since Battlefield has such a huge variety of things to do and cool things to capture.

Sadly a lot of the time on the 360 in BF3 I felt like I was the only one PTFO.

P.S. It's fun to have a squad of friends all use the EOD bot and roll out together.

I was really hoping I would never see Operation Metro again... That map is against everything a Battlefield map should be.

Technically Metro always had levolution with that Rush mode air bombing. But I don't see a vehicle-free close quarters map being much with some destruction.

The best way they could have fixed Metro would have been to combine it with Seine Crossing.

They've actually added some great things to these maps. I watched a ceiling fall down on a person in Metro. Various stuff like that.

Well, at least it is my four favorite maps. Being that it is the only launch game I am buying, I welcome the additions.

Quick question..I bought BF4 for $48 from newegg
But iam not sure if the game will arive on time for
My PS4 on nov 15th..so lets say i buy a copy from
Bestbuy ..and return my copy from newegg to
Bestbuy should that work? Or can they tell that

Just keep the copy from Newegg and when the PS4 version comes out you can upgrade for only $10. Cancel the Best Buy order. Unless its the BF4 bundle. Might be a little screwed there.

Its awesome to have reworked maps of older popular maps but those should have already been in the game. It reminds me of the awesome days where (halo games) blood gulch become coagulation and then valhalla etc. It shows appreciation to the older maps. I wouldnt want to miss out in using new with old maps.

Selling me this shit for $$$ might be tough for me though. $15 for dlc is a lot of money to me lol.
