Because technically 2k and Rockstar are separate entities. Both however are subsidiaries of Take Two Interactive.

I had to think about it for a second too though. GTA is by far Take Two's biggest franchise however.

I am really hoping they bring back Manhunt! I never played part 2 but part one was beyond awesome. The whole snuff film point of view was excellent and this needs to be brought back if made for the new systems.

I'd love to see another Manhunt too but I can't see it happening after the media circus the first 2 games stirred up. Shame really.

Manhunt is still my favourite ap experience of all time, it was so intense to play. Bottom line is we probably won't get a new one unless its really toned down because of all the bad press it got!

Max Payne supposedly sold really well so I think we will get a new one.

I don't see why they would go back to Vice City again. A modern day Vice City would be pretty boring and they've already exhausted an '80s Vice City with two games. It's time to finally head to a brand new location. Or maybe they will just focus on expanding GTA Online and broadening that one cohesive world with new locales.

I hope for a new Red Dead more than anything and think most would probably agree--not all but more than enough to warrant one.

They have a few great franchises to work with though and love idea of new IPs (both 'known' such as Agent as well as totally unannounced ones). I would love to see something outside of US though or at least futuristic (Cyber Punk like Blade Runner) just to see what Rockstar could do with a much different setting.
