Yea, definitely too hard to draw a serious comparison on this from the quality of this video.
Although, I did splurge on BF4 yesterday for ps3. As expected the Multiplayer is still fun as hell.. the maps are really well constructed as well... but, the game is really showing the age and limitations of current gen consoles.

But here's a tip for current gen BF4 players - If you jump into an online match and you think it looks like a ps1 game, go back to the menu and turn "visual smoothing" all the way up... the graphic settings are nerfed by default to reduce latency, but I turned the optimization all the way up and had no issues online... and everything looked MUCH better!

Freaking current-gen is holding back the next-gen. Come on people.. vote with your dollars. Early adopt the next generation system and buy these games for that system.

Off topic, but they should let ps4 players play against ps3 players. Heck throw in pc and x1 players while you're at it, lol. But i serious wish they'd at least let ps3 and ps4 players play together

Games that are released on current gen and next gen consoles aren't exactly pushing the limits of these systems.
The exclusives on the other hand tell a different story.

This video sucks, they could've at least paused during a close up or something, most of the video wasn't even in sync with each other. The PS3 version looks pretty good, only thing I really noticed bad was the shape of that orange lifesaver on the boat. It wasn't all that round like the PS4 version.

Anyway, a close up would've been nice, video is pretty much a waste of time, especially without understanding the language of narrator/uploader.

The PS3 version is 720p, has more jaggies, looks sharper, and has a higher contrast. It must be better right? Right?

i still don't understand how ps4 and X1 can't do 1080p 60FPS like PC (wait) while ps3 and xbox 360 did bf4 intact????

but not any PC will be able to run BF4 at 1080p/60frames though. You talk about PC like if it were a console but what you should be talking about is about the hardware set-up you would need to achieve that.

With these 2 pieces you're already past the range of next-gen consoles budgets and you still need Ram, power supply, HDD, ventilators, a case, motherboard...

When you factor in the budget, size, power consummation (250 watts) and heat consoles (at least the PS4) are the best you can have for the money (if you ignore the fact that you have to pay for online now) compared to the ever changing environment on the PC, so not everything is a loss. But if graphics are your bread and butter and you're still gaming on consoles then you're doing it wrong.

Of course you guys cant see the difference.you must be watching this withought hd,have a shitty monitor or possibly are blind as a bat.Theres a huge difference.its so much clearer with less jaggies and smoother.Again and agin I will repeat myself like every other f%^ing post the Bf4 for the PS4 videos we have been watching are all in 720p not 900p.Theres a huge difference when it runs at 900p upscaled to 1080p to a 720p which cant be upscaled to 1080p for hence the Xboxone.maybe if people on N4G actually could read especially the articles you would have noticed them saying that Dice only sent them 720p versions and not the final game.In 2 weeks you will see the huge difference.My god people on N4G just jump to conclusions right away withought following up on anything then the video in fron of them.

wow all the xbox fans think the brighter and more vibrant the game is = better if thats the case then ps3 looks better than ps4 the ps3 version appears to be more brighter and more vibrant than the ps4 and has the same amount of jaggies the x1 has but it must be better. hmm something tells me ppl are gonna be for a rude awakening come the 15'th

The back of the Battlefield 4 PS3 box says 1080p resolution, and the Battlefield 3 box has 720p resolution. Anyone one know why?

Isn't that most of what multi=plat/multi-console launch titles are when a new console comes out?

Give these game studios 2-3 years and our jaws will be dropping at the visuals, once devs really learn what they can do with the hardware

Absolutely not there is no way if the PS4 is easier to develop for plus its supposed be on a high end PC level but still look like a HD port from last gen. If that system is so powerful why dont the ps4 version look like the PC's people need to start looking at whats being shown and not they hear is gonna happen, I know games are gonna look better as time goes on but People need to stop making excuses for sony you never hear pc gamers say "Give it 2-3 years to see its potential.

I'm not making excuses for Sony, I'm just stating facts. It happens with each new console generation, where the launch titles look like prettier ports of thier previous gen counterparts. Find me a launch title from the first year of ps3/360 and then compare it to GTAV, Red Dead, Uncharted, Forza 3/4, etc.

Also, I hate piss on your parade, but there's no way the ps4/XB1 graphics will ever compare to a high end PC. Ever. I don't even own or play on a PC, and even I know that.
