Diablo 3 Review - JumpToGamer

Ah, Diablo 3. It was probably one of the most hyped games of the past 5 years, and all of that hype went right out the window when it was released. Plagued by launch problems, “always-online” DRM, and the auction house, it was well recieved by critics but almost universally hated by fans. But here it is, a year later and this time on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The real question here is does this console release make a better game? And surprisingly, the answer is yes. It seems as though Blizzard intended Diablo 3 to be played on consoles.

I bet most idiots who give this garbage good review scores never play the original Diablo from Blizzard North & if they did & still give these scores then they r blind Blizz fanboys or WoW casual noobs or completely retards, for true Diablo fans it's sacrilege to even call this abomination Diablo.

butthurt much ? :-))

ThanatosDMC3826d ago

Agreed. During beta a lot of people were complaining that the game was screaming "for WoW and consoles". Too bad the flood of WoW players flooded the forums back then and the fact that the GMs banned or locked down threads.

I totally agree with you....in regards to the PC version of this game. It had a lot of the exploitative, money-making schemes that MMO's so love to incorporate into their inherently addicting gameplay.

But the console version goes a long way in bringing back what made the original games great. It's all of the fast, brutal action and loot-driven compulsion without all of the corporate BS.

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.

I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.

All those games had to release without bugs.

Comebacks shouldnt be a thing in videogames. Just saying.

Diablo III - Still a Huge Draw in the Face of Diablo IV

Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.

Palitera387d ago

Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?

kevco33387d ago

Heh, yeah. There's no comparison in here! Its a commentary on how III is still very playable over a decade later.
