LaRouche Blames Microsoft For NIU Tragedy

"International Fascism: Microsoft Will Kill More Youth than Hitler." That is the title of a news posting over at the LaRouche Political Action Committee website, home of the supporters of American political nutcase Lyndon LaRouche. Taking their lead from the New York Post's sensationalist article "COLLEGE KILLER CRAZY FOR VIOLENT VID GAME", the LaRouche Camp is apparently blaming "Microsoft's Counterstrike killer video-game" for the shooting. Never mind that Microsoft doesn't make Counter-Strike - that's probably all part of the conspiracy as well.

"The intended effect, to foster an environment of mass suicide terrorism in the U.S.A., is a by-product of the 'Revolution in Military Affairs' policy, organized by Felix Rohatyn and George P. Shultz; the same individuals, who not only helped to install the fascist Pinochet into the Chilean government, but are the prime backers of a fascist Bloomberg Presidency."

What never ceases to amaze me is that Movies and TV aren't looked upon in the same light as video games. I see plenty of violence in movies and on tv so shouldn't that have the same effect as video games?(which most evidence has supported is none)

I also blame Intel and AMD for the killing! they probably made the CPUs which run the game! if AMD and intel wouldn't exist then the guy wouldn't be playing the game! I also blame the electric company! if no electricity would be delivered to this murderers then they wouldn't be able to play these games!

Why blame other things that probably have more impact on someone head that could trigger a person to commit such crimes.. like phycological problems without treatment, inability of parents to raise their kids properly or notifying the authority of a public threat or putting them in a mental institution..

Video games do not cause schizophrenia or stress disorder... child abuse, war, economy, etc do....

It's a cheap and dirty way to blame big fundamental problems without the need of doing anything... for example, instead of providing affordable health care for those who have mental problems to get help... blame it on video games; that way nothing gets done.

Murders have existed for ever and people didn't have video games back then... Hitler didn't play COD4 and he was very good a shooting people.

I'm all for having laws to enforce that content does not fall in the wrong hands... Fine the parents! Consoles now in days allows parents to control the games kids play... cable tv does the same...

I have a 1 year old little girl... and I don't let her watch Porno... so, why should I let her play Gears of war? As matter of fact if there is movie or game I don't think is appropriate I wouldn't watch or play it in front of her...

blahahahahhahahahhahaha such crap. I've been playing violent videogames since I was 5 and it hasn't made me violent at all ! I think people that kill after seeing something in GTA are called CRAZY nothing else. I was 10 i think when I played GTA 3 when it was released... So please Mr.Larouche *stfu* :) . I know loads of my friends who play violent video games and their the nicest people ! If some of my friends can play counter-strike everyday for 4-6 hours and during the weekends even more (yes their crazy into video games) and not kill anyone I won't believe in any research lol.
