Watch Ubisoft’s The Crew Running on PS4 in New Gameplay Video

Ubisoft’s The Crew is a rather peculiar mix between a racing game and an open world title, and today we got a new gameplay video recorded on the show floor at Eurogamer Expo, showing the game running on PS4.

hqgamez3851d ago

why do people upload garbage video nowadays?

UltimateMaster3851d ago

Looks good, like every other Next-Gen Racers.

Army_of_Darkness3851d ago

and to think all this time I would have thought that everyone has a phone capable of at least recording in 720p....

XB1_PS43851d ago

I'll have to say, those trees don't look next gen. They look exactly like last gen games' trees. Feels like i'm nitpicking though.

hellzsupernova3851d ago

For everyone complaining about the graphics this game started as a current generation game but got moved to next gen
Also the map is 5000 miles it is huge.
I cannot wait to play this game

P0werVR3851d ago (Edited 3851d ago )

@Army_of_Darkness

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Should have bought the phone with the best camera.

Many of eurogamer games were actually running on PC's with ps4 controller. It was crashing to windows a lot of times, it's been talked about on several sites but ofcourse on n4g no one knows about it. This kind of news escalate only when XO is involved.

I wouldn't be so sure.

I was there yesterday and nope it wasn't on actual ps4 I've got proof too many times games crashed on ps4 and they had to restart it and windows logo came up sorry but truth hurts

FunAndGun3851d ago

...and then you woke up.

Majin-vegeta3851d ago

Ok show us your proof??Plus it's hard to take you seriously with a name like that

xtremeimport3851d ago

interesting way to have the onscreen nav. Not sure i like it more than being on the road though.

Evilsnuggle3851d ago (Edited 3851d ago )

I see a pattern here all games on PS4 but all the xoxo boys will say it just a coincidence .maybe all the xbones are on a plane or stuck traffic or they just forgot . It's just a coincidence all game on console are always showed on PS4? I think not

This Is one of the games I'm buying next year for my ps4

Yo Mama3851d ago (Edited 3851d ago )

Looks ok. I don't see anything that would make me run out and buy it yet though. I'll wait for the next Burnout.

MWong3851d ago

The next Burnout is called NFS Rivals.

Sevir3851d ago

And it doesn't look spectacular on Next Gen at all.

RenegadeRocks3851d ago

Criterion isn't making racing games anymore :(

secretcode3851d ago

Yes and no. The majority of the Criterion crew moved on to a new studio, the one that's focused on NFS. So while the COMPANY Criterion isn't making any more racing game, the people from the company are.

TechMech3851d ago (Edited 3851d ago )

Wow. Looks great. Why is everything shown on ps4 though? I plan on buying the Xbox one, and many Xbox fanboys claim they will be the same game graphically for multiplatform games on both systems. Either Xbox one is being rushed to the market, or Xbox one isn't as powerful as Microsoft is saying....

MWong3851d ago (Edited 3851d ago )

9 out of 10 it's shown on PS4 because it's probably lead console. Normally publishers will show content on their lead console first.

I think the XBone is being rushed to keep pace with the PS4, with weaker specs. Honestly, if PS4 didn't have such a well received reveal, I don't think M$ would have been in such a scramble.

Abriael3851d ago (Edited 3851d ago )

PC is the "lead console" for basically all next gen games :D

ironfist923851d ago

Everything this gen was reviewed or played on Xbox 360, and that was annoying.

CERN3851d ago

I see what you did there...clever

creeping judas3851d ago

Glad I wasn't the only one who saw that.

Wait. I don't get it. I reported on something that I recently noticed. I did mention in my article that I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't gone to play The Division 2. That said, if this was nearly a week ago, I wouldn't know, as NO ONE REPORTED ON IT! Not IGN. Not Gamespot. Not Kotaku. No one.

You got people here complaining that there are any real gaming journalists and game journalism sucks, but when someone is acting, doing something to make something known to the public about what a company is doing. What do you do? You poke fun at it. What is it that people want? Do you want to complain for the sake of it? Or do you actually want people to do something to make those who aren't in the know aware of the shady stuff that's happening and to sound the alarm?

ravens524d ago

It's the "oh well" setting in on digital users. They don't care they don't own their stuff for some odd reason. 🤷🏽.

FullmetalRoyale4d ago

Good for you! People sometimes just feel the need to show how little they actually have to say. Very respectful dressing down, btw, which is another thing we need more of.

fan_of_gaming4d ago

I appreciate your article,
- "If this isn’t considered both a “WTF” moment and setting a dangerous precedent, I don’t know what else it would be"
- "it could also signal other publishers that removing games from our accounts would be okay"
- "Maybe those firmly against this digital future have a point after all"
- "This. Is. Fucked. Up."

As someone against an only-digital/streaming future for entertainment content (movies/TV shows/games/books), it feels like talking into a void about the points above on this website, or on Twitter, or with my friends, etc. People don't get it. I'm strongly contemplating whether this will be my last generation of PlayStation & Xbox consoles (I'm confident enough that Nintendo's next system will still support physical media and that their 1st-party games won't have online-required installation or usage restrictions).

He is one of the long running trolls of this site, he never says anything positive. Every single one of his posts are either incorrect or flat out stupid. Pay him no mind.

Thank you @shadowhaxor, we appreciate you.

Yet people will sit here and still say that digital is better 🙃

TheSenorCheese4d ago

Welcome to the era where you no longer own your games.

gvrd00193d ago (Edited 3d ago )

I'm so done with Ubisoft, removing games one paid for is a new low...
Bye Ubisoft,
You've done f#c*ed it up !

Chocoburger3d ago

This was me 9 years ago, when I realized all they wanted to make were filler boring games that are packed with micro-trash-actions.

Snooze! Moving on from Ubi-junk!

vTuro243d ago

I see they're trying their best to surpass Activision Blizzard for being the most hated gaming company. Keep at it, Ubisoft, I believe!
