you apply for the card you get the card, then you make one purchase could be for as little as a dollar.. then you get your free 12 months of PSN and a 50 dollar PSN credit in an email, as a code to add to your playstation acct.

So I used the 50 buck credit to buy another year.. -but you can use it on games or whatever you want on the PSN store..

then got my girl to sign up for one.. did the same thing again...

and then got my aunt to apply... so I got 5 years - and with the last 50 buck credit I used on a game -BF4 PS3 copy, and when I get my free 10 bucks for spending 50 bucks in the PSN store in oct.. the deal they got going right now, I'll use that 10.00 bucks to upgrade to BF4 for PS4 for free....

yeah they all got cards, every person gets that on sign-up - because it's just a code they give you, code can be used on any PlayStation acct.

-and no, it's like any other credit card, there is no annual fee and as long as you pay for what you buy your fine... so no long term expense..

Actually you don't have to wait until it expires to renew, whatever time you buy will just be added to the time you have...

so if you expire 11-12-13 then when you buy new time -like a one year- it's just added - so your new time would be 11-12-14

so your not losing time - the new time is just added on to whenever your old time expires.

volume is how and it gets games good promotion to people without plus too. the pay these devs get for putting their game in the igc some have commented saying they're satisfied with it. it's an overall package,not just money for them. but it's a genius thing that no one can compete with.

The seller has them for $45. There is a coupon that is applied that takes $5 off. But its only good towards 1. If you buy 2 of them, one will be $40 and the other will be $45. Also, the $10 off $50 promo code he's talking about IS NOT valid on these. It is only valid on a few categories. Really wish he would have done his research before posting this.

Paying for online multiplayer is still playing for online multiplayer; a scam, just like XBL

They just shoe-horned it into PS+ thinking nobody would notice because of their victory at E3 against microsoft, and they were right. Suckers are lining up paying for this scam. There was no justification given for adding it to PS+ other than 'hehe time to get some more money'

I never play online multiplayer & I got plus 4 months ago.
I play some of the PS3 & PSP games they add. I'd say it's probably worth it if you play a lot of the games added to plus. They do need to add new avatars & themes once in awhile.
If you don't buy many games per year & you will play the plus games then it's definitely worth it, especially at $40.
If you buy a lot of games each year & only play single player, you really don't need to get it. You'll probably already have a lot of the games they'll add to plus & you'll most likely have your own backlog anyway.
