A whole other country for MS to fail in yay

Ittoryu3859d ago

every console will fail in china as they aren't console less they have modded versions just like the middle east and just like the middle east their market is full of pirates, fakes and straight rip offs.

Starting in a new market over 1.35 billion people it would make total sense to tap into that market. Even with a 5% pickup of the new console ,ie 5% of their population, thats 67.5 million consoles sold. There is endless opportunity here and if they play their cards right, others will certainly see this and will soon follow.

Maybe, maybe not, it's fair to say that the chinese dislike the Japanese the word hate wouldn't be too strong a word for some, but that doesn't mean they are stupid, the biggest reason for the Xbone to sell more will probably be more to do with the amount of pirated software that will become available for the system which is not a great way to dominate..

Actually, not really. Even before the ban was to be lifted in some parts of China, shops would sell consoles out in the open. Some of them would even be modded. Chinese gamers are into PC gaming anyways

Even if the manage to sell, they're not selling the Bone there. It's a streaming device that might play games.

They must not hate them that much. Look at how many more Japanese cars are sold there compared to American cars. Keep wishing for that day xbone sucka, Its all you have now.

Right now that's a stretch, but still possible. At least it's possible somewhere.

China's gamer fanbase consist of a bunch of Chinese made F2P MMO addicts. Considering that neither the PS4 nor XB1 offer the variety found on PC and on top of it, having to pay to play online? The only console that has a slight chance of succeeding there is the Wii U.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing6911h ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming
