Taco Bell reportedly giving out free PS4s before it is officially released

According to this Twitter user, Taco Bell is giving away free PS4s to its customers.

This is pretty cool and doubt it's just a rumor, Tacobell gave out free PS Vitas around the time of it's launch. I have a friend on PSN that actually won one.

It was one of those peel sticker on a cup things. Instant prize winners. Guess I'm gonnsa have to start buying big boxes for lunch. I'd probably cry if I won one lol.

In that sense it's a pretty amazing metaphor, it works well as a teaser, but it really wasn't to great of an advert because of how obscure the theme was.

I understand not what the b**** is all about, Taco Bell held contests and promoted Xbox brands with no problem and the Vita thing I believe was and isolated incident. One bad promo doesn't brand it for life look at Sony's bad rep a year ago or/and two. And no TB never gave me Toco squirts but I have ate some pretty disgusting things from there.

Im pretty sure what our good friend venemox meant was that there won't be any games available to buy before its launchday.
Since this article is reporting that they will be giving out ps4s before the official launchdate, I think that he raises a good question, what is the point?

maybe there will be some f2p games available to download from the ps store already, although I kind of doubt it.

LOL, you're right! I total jumped the gun because I didn't even think about that, been reading too many troll comments lately I guess so I've been defensive.

On that note: Every PS4 comes pre-loaded with Game Room, that's something even though only a few of the games can be played without a camera.

Maybe they'll be games on the PS store by then, who knows. I doubt you'd actually get the system any more than a couple days before launch if getting it before launch is even true to begin with.

Personally I'd just be excited to check out all the other features, interface and show it off to friends.

Taco Bell cannot be trusted we still don't know if they use real beef for their tacos or not. As another poster stated they tried this stunt a couple years back and we all know how that turned out.

The only thing I get from Taco Bell is the chicken soft tacos and Doritos locos tacos. Can't stomach the other stuff after the years of horror stories. Meat/cheese/lettuce from there. That's it, occasionally a churro or cinnamon twists. Maybe I will luck out and they will add something for people like me who love the Doritos locos tacos but not the rest of the garbage.
