Whoa, is PS3 normally that far ahead of 360? I dont normally pay that much attention so I dont know.

Actually the percentage says PS3 down Xbox up so the gap closed but its still a bit of a shellacking.

Mario183862d ago

It is probably because those potential PS3 buyers opted for the GTA5 bundle. It is doing pretty well on amazon

savaroth3862d ago

I think that it has a lot to do with the current game releases. Xbox360 had some great games, but it has been slow later on.

PS3 ATM has the more interesting titles.

MadMen3862d ago

PS3 looking strong

WiiU looking weak

PopRocks3593862d ago

Considering the Wii U's upcoming price drop I'd be surprised if it saw a bigger increase (considering it says here it rose one percent). I'd be more curious to see how it does after the Wind Waker bundle comes out.

Also, gotta give props to the 3DS' performance. Solid numbers for several months running.

lilbroRx3862d ago

Actually, its been over a year of the 3DS reigning at the top.

AbortMission3862d ago

Wow, how long has it been since they announced they've sold 3.45m Wii us? They STILL haven't passed the 3.5m mark Lol sad, really.

3862d ago
Jay70sgamer3862d ago

It's also sad Nintendo as a company has been the console and handheld leader for the last 8 years dispute them facts and tell me how sad that is lol

AbortMission3861d ago

Lmfao at these two butthurt drones. So I can't comment on Wii u sales figures without automatically being called a Nintendo hater <- lol a new extreme low.

Aren't you that same drone who keeps telling me that you've been gaming since the 70's just to hide your fanboyism?

LOL_WUT3861d ago

@ AbortMission They mix up criticism with hating not only that but they hate it when they're confronted with facts. Just bubble him down and get it done with ;)

Jay70sgamer3861d ago

What I stated was a fact ...is it not a fact nintendo handhelds and consoles has been the industry leader for the last 8 years ....what is it that I said that isn't true ...smh disagreeing with facts smh LOL-WUT and Abortmision that isn't a fact?....umm let me break it down wii leader since 2006 consoles and nintendo handhelds forever and I can't face facts smh lol dispute them facts I just dropped on both of yall ...explain that lol

I expect a slow , steady decline for ps3 from here out ... Everyone and their dog has heard of ps4 now

Mario183862d ago (Edited 3862d ago )

Sorry but with Beyond coming out and GTA 5 just being released, that is highly unlikely

keabrown793862d ago

While Beyond looks great, i'm picking it up!, it won't be any more of a success then Heavy Rain was.

Inception3862d ago

Not to mention there's Gran Turismo 6 in the end of this year. Next year line up also full of amazing exclusive + multiplat for PS3. So a steady decline sales for PS3 will be happen in 2015...maybe.

T23862d ago

yes I agree, I didn't mean a full decline right away, but aside from some obvious jumps due to GT and GTA, I'm saying the ps4 will climb while ps3 declines over time, say the next year or two. It will be interesting to see when ps4 catches ps3 for monthly sales... could be immediately.

just-joe3862d ago

I assume 3DS sale will go higher as soon as Pokemon hits.

Williamson3862d ago

The 3ds sales always leave me speechless, and it did around 275,000 in Japan alone recently
...

savaroth3862d ago

Really shows what a good game library can do. I have the Vita and think it is a much better device, but can't deny that the 3DS has more games and more importantly it does have plenty of GOOD titles too.

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

LG_Fox_Brazil1d 5h ago

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai23h ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing699h ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle8h ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal8h ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

Abnor_Mal4h ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

*As per Wikipedia

boing17h ago(Edited 7h ago)

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II - PC Wore it Better

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth II was an intriguing and unique RTS title, that sadly suffered in its console port.

dadavis199220h ago

Was just thinking about this game and wishing I had a way to revisit it. The way EA scrubs these titles from existence once their licensing runs out is horrid.

Michiel19899h ago

there is a client made by modders and it also works online.

kevco339h ago

Indeed. The game can still be played online on PC.

Xbox 360 players, though? Bang outta luck.
