GTA V Review | Gamergen

GTA V: a game that is not worth 19 out of 20

In conclusion, Grand Theft Auto V is not worth 19 out of 20. And the reason for this is obvious: by being too generous, Rockstar Games has become too greedy with the current generation. In fact, her baby, no matter how huge, has a few technical flaws and sometimes sees serve a gameplay time to time out of his mind (the phase plane / helicopter, the portions GST).

In other words, GTA V just put your finger on the obvious: it's time to move on to the next generation, because limits are qu'atteintes when ambitions beyond anything that has been done to current '. Besides, if we had noted that ambition, there is no doubt that GTA deserves a 19 out of 20. Except that the ambitions are not a substitute for concrete and concrete Rockstar title is far from titillating perfection. At least he has shown that video game is a medium that is still in the ruck. And that too is the enemy of the good.

In a nutshell, GTA V is a good game and the best proposal for the open-world category, a genre that his ancestors marked turn. It was time to resume the torch but it might have to wait until the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to show a better face.

Nice to see honest scores and not hyped ones.

KonsoruMasuta3868d ago

Or maybe people just have different opinions. Just because someone rated it high doesn't mean it's not honest.

ZBlacktt3868d ago (Edited 3868d ago )

Or maybe you can read what he wrote. I saw many of the same things he stats in game play videos. Nothing wrong with pointing out things rather then over looking it just because you like the game itself.

Look what happened with the last GTA game. Hyped to all hell and turned out to be the worst one ever made.

The problem nowadays is WAY to many games are getting 9+ and 10's. Like everything is really that perfect huh. Of course they are not. This review points out the real true facts of what people can expect. He list more good things then bad. So he is not flaming the game to death and he's also not saying " OMG 10++++ best thing ever OMG! "

KonsoruMasuta3868d ago

This game is not the best thing ever. But it damn sure is one of the best things ever.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp35d ago (Edited 35d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos36d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
