Alleged PS4 Version of Grand Theft Auto V Removed by Amazon Germany

Earlier today an interesting listing of a PS4 version of Grand Theft Auto V, including a picture of a cover, was discovered on Amazon Germany.

Unfortunately the listing was almost immediately removed by the retailer, marking it either as a mistake or as a leak happened too early

This is what they wanted,they wanted everyone to buy the 360 and ps3 version then announce the ps4 and xbox one version a month later and get a whole bunch of sales again from people..

Don't worry if it gets a digital release on PSN you can still play it on your ps4, i think. Either way it's definitely coming out on nex-gen in 6-12 months so either way you'll get it :)

Launch title = not likely. PS4/1BX versions will take some time to port and adapt to their platforms. Likely Mid 2014 at the earliest. As its likely being ported from the PC version to PS4/1BX. Rockstar wants the PS3/X360 versions to sell for a while on their own at $60 bucks before they release the upgraded version so they can sell it for the same price. :)

How so? Its Amazon Germany. You can see the Cached pages in all their detail. The pages exist. Retailers usually are the first to tip people off about upcoming games on a new platform. Date is unknown, but likely Mid to late 2014.

Goto cachedpages.com and enter the addresses. See what comes up. Looks real to me. :)

We all know that Rockstar wants to milk that tiddy for the money, so there will be a next-gen version and it will obviously look better and probably support up to 64 - 100 people in the multiplayer unlike the 16 people for the 360 and PS3.

I'm technically getting my PS3 version for free since I'm paying it off with in store reward points I accumulated over the pat two years.
So I wouldn't mind paying for the PS4 version, but at the same time I think it would be a questionable business practice.

I mean a next gen version is going to look better but other than that it's not going to be any different... And really, how much more better is it REALLY going to look anyway?
It already looks better than GTA IV and is packed with tons more content to boot.

I would rather they just get working on a new game engine built specifically for next gen and then see a GTA VI. And before even all that, I WISH they would make Bully 2!

I do think there will be a next gen versions, but tgs seems like a wierd place for rockstar to announce that. I think it will be later, since there making a PC version I would be shocked if its not going next gen too.

well it was probably a typo.. If not, then Rockstar doesnt want ppl to NOT buy it waiting for the PS4 version to release.. Buying PS3 games right now may seem like a waste to some.. I still buy em cuz im keeping mine but some ppl may be trading it in to help pay off PS4
