I get he is too much for some people. Don't insult him because he has fun with what he is doing and doesn't have to act mature to be professional. It's not your taste, so you can move on.

Linus from NCIX channels and LinusTechTips makes silly jokes sometimes even in product showcases and reviews. It's not like it's bad, it's just his thing and people love him for it.

EDIT: And the people that want to rant about him, especially on his own youtube channel/videos are even worse, you're just giving him more views that way. If you don't like him then just ignore him. You have plenty other options. Not that it's like people won't bring the topic to you, but some people just bring it up themselves occasionally like a habit.

Well I didn't watch all of it haha
I skipped to the parts which really made an impact on me when I first played it. Which just made it really depressing listening to his reactions and the way he just well....ruined it all.
It wouldn't bother me normally it's just the fact that some people watched this video instead of buying the game (and I know there's no evidence that those same people would have bought the game) but there had to of been some surely. Even worse is when those same people turn around and say the game is overrated when their only experience of the last of us is a pewdiepie video on youtube.

I dont think you understand. Endorsements only matter if the person's endorsement has any value and among the majority he does not.

For example. If your primary consumers are part of the LGBT community then you will not accept an endorsement from Putin. If anything refusing it and telling him to do one will increase your sales.

Firstly youtube views are not synonymous with buisness deals. Thats like saying whether or not IGN gives a game a good or bad review score their video is endorsing the game because of views alone.

Also facts? Oh please, the only fact you stated was that his walkthrough was 16 episodes long. The rest was complete bull.

Also lets see Sony accept this so called endorsement. You think they want someone who tossed out more rape jokes a year than Santa does presents to publicly endorse their products? I really hope they don't if they want to keep up the good publicity.

I watched one of his videos, disliked it and left a comment explaining what I didn't like - not in a rude way or anything, just the way I would with anything else I try and don't like.

Whilst I am not a fan of PewDiePie I can't fault the fact he knows his market and its doing well at it. The whole over the top persona is adored by some of the younger people I know.

Personally, I don't mind him all that much, but I get why people are annoyed with him. He basically created an immature fanbase that love the crap out of him, then they go to similar gaming videos and have to make comparisons of Felix to other people.

Basically, they'll say things like how Felix is God no other Gamer can match his greatness etc... Or they'll also say "This guy tries too hard to be PewDiePie" and "This guy sucks compared to PewDiePie". Nobody needs to hear that crap on a video they want to watch other than PewDiePie and it just ruins some of people's experiences.
