Tecmo has a unique series of games where players set traps called Deception in the West or Kagero in Japan. We haven’t seen a new Deception game since Trapt which came out almost a decade ago. During Sony’s press conference a logo for Kagero: Darkside Princess was shown as an upcoming PlayStation Vita game
Koei Tecmo Games released a new promotional video from the soon-to-be released Kagero: Darkside Princess game. Check out the trap combo park video.
This type of game could've been great with a darker, less silly approach. It's unfortunate that they're butchering it like this.
When I read "Darkside Princess trap" I thought it was about something else entirely to what the video showed.
i swear that the Japanese make the weirdest games...obviousy they make awesome games too but wtf man...
It's unlikely, but I would love to see this get a western release.
Deception is such a cool and fairly unique series.
WOW, I loved the Deception series way back in the day.
That is a pretty cool title to be coming to the Vita.
This one coming to PS3 also -> http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/k... & I seriously surprised in a good way about this :D I loved the first game I play it for hundreds of hours trying to upgrade all the traps & testing everything trying to find what work best vs all those different kind of intruders it was unbelievable fun back in the PS1 days although the graphics were horrible :D & I loved how dark it was the atmosphere inside the castle the music everything create the right atmosphere to go for hunting & feed the pure souls to the demons! hahahahahahah :P
Can't w8 to see more of this & I really hope that it will be so dark & twisted as the first one or more & I hope we will have diversity & freedom on how we can build our castle, I want the option to expand it, create hallways, rooms & I want a ton of traps & a ton of upgrades for those traps! bring it to EU already I need to play this ^__^
Only played Kagero 2 but I absolutely loved it!
YES! YES!! YES!!! Please revive the old classic titles. This is one of the titles that I had enjoyed. I remembered playing the Japanese Kagero version before the English Deception. This will be definitely on my list. Just announce the localization and you'll make me one happy fella. :D
