A Video Game About The Holocaust

Kotaku - Video games, as a general rule, do not cover serious tragedies, mostly because there aren't a lot of ways to get satisfying gameplay out of something like the Holocaust.

Wow, really?

Who the Hell thought this would make a good game? This is beyond pathetic and racist!

Jyndal3884d ago

Who the hell thought killing cops and sleeping with prostitutes would make a good game?

Oh, yea....

It's all a matter of perspective.

thorstein3884d ago

I am not sure he read the premise of this game. And the game itself might really help people understand history.

KwietStorm_BLM3884d ago

Entirely not the same thing.

elhebbo163884d ago (Edited 3884d ago )

Why not? movies are aloud to display the holocaust in a very realistic way (to a certain extent), why not games? I only read books in middle school about the holocaust and besides important events I didnt really delved into it much. a mature video game about it would be great and would give me a better perspective on it.

Jyndal3884d ago

I can see where this guy is coming from. It would bring a certain level of understanding to some of the more intense moments in history.

How often do you really think about the Jewish people being exterminated when you're killing Nazis in COD, or the oppression of the African American race when playing one of those Civil War strategy games?

I could get behind this. In fact, I will.

"How often do you really think about the Jewish people being exterminated"

Funny that the same people, not all, you seem to be calling compassion for, are now themselves the exterminators of the Palestinians and are land occupiers.. oh yeah, i read history and news on what's going in the world from multiple sources not just one.

Take your shit elsewhere we don't need it here.

US8F3884d ago (Edited 3884d ago )

Segamon, Completely agree.

Hint, if you dig a little bit deeper, you will come to an understanding that the holocaust is a fabricated history. The sources are in their history, no need to go elsewhere.

Jyndal3884d ago

How is this racism? Did you even read the article or watch the video?

Oldman1003884d ago

I've always wanted to play a realistic AAA stealth survival game based on the Holocaust where you play as a lonesome young child trying to escape from the nazis. Make it happen Naughty Dog.

mt3884d ago

all naughty dog games have noting to do with politics or religions ..

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
