Double Fine is working on DLC for PS4 tech demo, The Playroom. The DLC will be available to all PS4 owners free of charge.
It looks like a third entry isn't happening soon.
Psychonauts 2 has been the studios most profitable release, despite being on Gamepass, and a third title is already open and on the table when the time comes.
They wanted to do a big, new IP release coming into the acquisition being they would have funding they wouldn't have otherwise. That was obviously greenlit.
He was always gonna make a new ip once MS bought them.
The correct dicision imo, comebk to P3 at a later date.
Just how do studios cope with the pressure to "produce a worthy sequel"?
I'm about 9 episodes into this and it's great. They've been recording it for long, long time, pre Kickstarter and Rhombus.
Double Fine announced that volume 2 of the Psychonauts 2 Original Soundtrack is available now to stream and purchase. The second volume lists at 17 songs and features Helmut’s song “Cosmic 1” sung by Jack Black.

I was skeptical about the PS4 camera at first, not usually into the whole motion gaming shiznit. But since they're bundling it really cheap, we might as well give teh playroom a go.
not buying the camera till can get it bundled with whatever the next MediaMolecule game is comes out. Hopefully will get word of what that will be by TGS
