Kotaku First Look At The PlayStation 4's Menus In Action

Today at Gamescom, Sony demonstrated the PlayStation 4's menus and interface for the first time. Also, they unveiled a lovely leather chair!

I really want that leather chair....O and the UI looks good but that chair

love the new UI,
i't look fresh while looking very familiar

I liked that much better than the previous glimpses of the UI that we got. More like XMB evolved than it seemed before.

Saigon3900d ago

The UI is different; I do like how they have the XMB applied but the interface around it is amazing. Looks like both MS and Sony did a great job with their UIs. I hope we can see more throughout the week.

It looks like the XMB has evolve and I'm glad they kept some parts of it.

why would someone post the video that is out of sync

MWong3900d ago (Edited 3900d ago )

Way out of sync. But, the UI is definitly a step in the right direction. Looks a lot smoother and sleeker than the PS3 UI.

This looks off to me. The XO has a much better GUI in my opinion. It looks more mature. Think Netflix or Amazon Prime.

AirJohnston3900d ago

Xbox One's is pretty much Windows 8. No one likes Windows 8

Unknown3900d ago

It does change the fact that the XO GUI is cleaner looking and doesn't look like Facebook and Xbox live(360) had a baby.

yoshida chilling like a boss.

ot: the UI looks clean.

ABeastNamedTariq3900d ago

UI looks nice and refreshing. I love the sounds it makes haha.

Unknown3900d ago

I wonder if the system will take that long to load...I thought they had a techincal issue it took so long. Not a good look.
