2K took over midway though development. I doubt they had much influence over the final product since there wasn't much time left. Next year's game, WWE 2K15 is the one to look forward to. It'll be 100% 2K's game and will probably be the first next-gen WWE game.

Well you can tell the influence from the fact that we get all superstars we want in once.
Instead of getting a few of them every year, while removing the previous ones.

THQ had really washed out this series with their limited perspective.

They really really need to build a new engine and transfer resources from current one to it. A new engine will provide gameplay change, better graphics and more. I mean they have been using an decade old engine for christ's sake.

'15 was also already being worked on by THQ for next gen systems. Won't see a full 2K product till '16 unless they decide to ditch the work already done on '15.

This was part of THQs downfall if you ask me. They even admitted to working on '14 and '15 shortly after the launch of '13.

In my opinion they need to take the series back to the exclusive days. Things were much better when Smackdown was for Playstation and RAW was for Xbox where both games took advantage of the hardware they were on.

more hype to cover up a crappy game. This game is still going to suck like it it last year.

They need to get rid of the annually releases. Wrestling doesn't lend itself well to annual releases.

I agree. It's basically just a roster and stage update with the same visuals and a few new moves. No real changes. I think they should release the game every 2 years with up to 15 months of spread out DLC that updates the roster and adds new legends.

One year, 2K games should create an alternate universe storyline where DX goes against NWO. They need Sting,Hall,Nash and Lex.

Ohhh man now that really sounds awesome. They really should do it and i would love to play as sting hall nash and lex. Loved their finishers as well. Back when wrestling was awesome.
